- My dad actually requested this Carpenters cover which I was happy for since (They Long To Be) Close To You is one of my favourite songs of all time.
I thought with the beautiful imagery in this song that being outside would be fitting for this cover. Now you have the privilege of seeing the unreal view that I get to see here in the Alps.
One thing is that my hands, my face, and everything were freezing so this was a fun little challenge! Luckily though I had my trusty hand warmer :)

i went here to youtube to escape. i clicked just anything that popped up because i am crying because i miss my mom so much but shes just right here outside my room. i just miss her, the old image of her, who i loved so much. have u guys been hurt by someone you love so much that you cant love anymore. im sorry mom, i miss you. and this just happens to be her most fave song🥹😭
I miss my mom too. I can't love her anymore, as I grow older I learn how her love always hurt, and it shouldn't feel that way. But I wanna love her... and I miss her a lot, but I'm disillusioned now and I can't blindly love mom anymore.
I missed my mom too... including my dad. Both of them were gone to God's grace. I took care of them until they departed (out of illnesses). The processes were beyond my capacity to handle, because I was too closed to them.
I loved my mom so much, she was the best friend that I had... I talk to her all the time... while my dad, I hate him most of the time due to abusive childhood.. but then after mom passed away, I was closed to him very much and I am glad I managed to forgive him and we went along. But in the end, he was gone too.
I went to depressed over a few years especially during Covid19 national lockdown period.. and it was suicidal but thanked God I managed to go over it and come back stronger.
What I wanna said to you is.. try to forgive and move on.. because our time here is too short, it's not worth it.
