I am extremely curious to see where this game is going . first impression is very good ! Love the animation !!! Would love to see some real rpg elements behind the ice / managerial options. without an NHL license you could really capture that old school small town hockey, men's senior league feel which all true hockey fans love and have been starving for . wishlisted !
I'd buy it. Games should be "video game like" imo. Keep the attributes to a minimum, maybe shoting, passing, checking, fighting, speed (frig acceleration) and shot blocking for skaters, that's it (never mind poise, offensive awareness, hands etc). I, the user, will determine offensive awareness based on a few key attributes~like knowing who is speedy and who is shooty lol. And goalies, position, speed, recovery, passing, glove and stick. Again, imo, trying to make a game super realistic takes something away from the fun. In the 80's/90's I was so excited to see what technology advances would bring. But now, I actually kinda miss the days of old. This looks great. Good luck with it.

Looks like the type of game you play once and then never play again, that trailer definitely didn't show anything impressive at all.
