SR Pacific No. 34067 'Tangmere' at York - 'The Waverley' - 7th July 2024

SR Pacific No. 34067 'Tangmere' and West Coast Railways Class 47 diesel No. 47848 were the locomotives in charge for West Coast Railways 'Waverley' rail tour (1Z67) from York to Carlisle on 7th July 2024.
In this video we see 'Tangmere' arriving into York with it's support coach from the Railway Museum and being attached to the rear of the train. WCR Class 47 No. 47848 led the train out of York with this 'top n tailed' formation lasting as far as Leeds, where Tangmere would lead to Carlisle. This was due to engineering work in West Yorkshire requiring the train to enter Leeds from the west of the station.
