My love for #GirlsAloud maybe came a little too late. In Australia, the girls were not household names, as I missed them during the Biology days. My first foray with the #girlband came from The Promise storming the UK charts. What I heard was phenomenal. They continued the followup single The Loving Kind, which became one of my favourite songs of all time, I had to dig up their discography, it was a revelation.
The discography of British-Irish girl group Girls Aloud consists of five studio albums, two greatest hits albums, two live albums, and one remix album. The band has also released twenty-one singles
Starting my musical journey from Australia, I wasn't exposed to much of music that wasn't on local radio, so unfortunately the lack of local label support meant the exceptional song Biology didn't get the proper promotion and flew under the radar.
It wasn't until I started reading blogs and around the time of the end of the Tangled Up Era and the start the Cheryl's solo career start blowing up that I really noticed them and was immediately hooked.
The catchy pop music, the glamorous girls, each with distint personalities, it was amazing.
With the amazing Out of Control album, I quickly went through the discography and the Greatest Hits era really reinforced my love for them. Although the tragic passing of Sarah closed that capter for the girls, their living legacy carries on.
