Autel makes good sensors, no reason to pay 4x as much for OEM.

I have the TPMS4 from Snap On which I believe is made by Snap On with Ateq supplied software. Wish I had just bought an actual Ateq since the TPMS4 requires a scanner. As far as aftermarket sensors go, I've used the Schrader and the U-Pro and haven't really had that many issues with either of them.

I like the Autel tpms tool I have, autel sensors work good. Also programs oem. Free updates for life of tool as well... We have the New Ateq tool (GM essential tool) which will do all makes and models and 3 differen't aftermarket sensors, non of which our suppliers around carry, they carry the qwick sensor which you need the snap on or bar tech to program. so if its a side job or my own i get the autel sensors otherwise i just get the oem.

When tpms system came out it sucked, but now in days they seemed to have figured out the kinks. Ive been using the ez sensors from shraders for years now. No issues so far.

Yeah, Autel and Smart Sensor make good aftermarket sensors. There's no reason anyone should pay 4x the price for OEM sensors

All TPMS sensors are aftermarket sensors basically...

Hey flat rate master I know this is an old video but do you recommend any TPMS tool that’s pretty good and budget friendly that can program Toyota oem sensors. To register new ID.

    I have an F150 2012.
Will anyone vouch this TPMS will setup a new OEM sensor.
The chime is driving me nuts.
    Thanks

I’ve had great luck with the Autel MX sensors. We get em by the 10pk from advance auto wholesale. From a 2014 Bentley GTC, to a 2003 GMC, they’ve always worked when programmed with the Autel 501 tool

A couple of years ago I bought the snapon tpms4 and it works pretty good. My biggest complaint is that for $800 it doesn't do enough without a scan tool. The tool itself is not obd compliant so to reprogram some systems you need a snapon scan tool. The tool does do a lot including programming key fobs but to get the most out of it I need to spend another 10-15k on the scan tool... no thank you.
