Preston Williams had more targets than Davante Parker before he tore his ACL. I know that’s an oddly specific stat but, a lot of these “low overall” players you’re trading are young and have a lot of potential. I’d take Preston a Williams for a 32+ year old center any day of the week

That is something else. The only flaw that I see in this, is that the majority of those players are over 30 and not far from retiring because of Madden's busted retirement logic, and therefore you're in a "win now" situation. Getting all of those players are good, but you'd need to get some younger players to improve and get ready to start then those retire, or try to draft with what picks you have left that aren't traded away. Gotta love Madden's also busted trade logic.
I don’t think RBT realizes how Madden contracts work in franchise yet his channel is “built” on it
At the end its because the cap penalty is higher than the cap hit, so if you release/trade them then you lose cap

I have 3 questions.
My 1st question isn't about resigning players in the off season. What I have been trying to figure out is the calculations for when you sign a free agent during the regular season to a 1 year deal with no bonus. The signing amount doesn't directly translate on the current year cap space/room. Also, when you try to sign another free agent it seems like 50% of the contract was removed from that cap space, and I don't have a clue why.
My 2nd question is like the inverse of the 1st. When I cut players that are on a 1 year deal (which means the current season) the net savings can be 750k, but I only see an increase of .1M. I have done this in week 1 and week 16 to test if there is any prorating going on with the contracts when players are cut but that was not the case. I also cut players of different net saving amounts and got different reductions to the current year cap space.
My 3rd question is what is the benefit to having current year cap space when resigning players after the superbowl and how does it work/apply in detail?
(I seen in a RUclips video that there is a benefit to having cap space from the season that just ended when trying to resign players which I thought was an extension that only affected future years)

Burt Macklin washes up qb. Aging wide receivers, TE are ok, OLINE is amazing. Had a very average offense last year. They’re an average offense this year as well

Nick Chubb from the Browns was an easy trade for me to make so if you want a HB then trade for him on the Browns

u can trade easy for any RB and OL any player over 30 years old and any player who is on a team with another talented player playing their same position. For example: Desmond king plays SS now. LAC already has derwin james at SS. Desmond king for your back up RB will go through. Certain players like Richard Sherman and Cam Jordan wont be available to trade for. You can cheat the game and move any player to Kicker and then trade for them for dirt

I mean yeah these trades are good if you’re only doing one year for the franchise. These players are all old (except for Nelson), and almost all of them are up for a new contract which is exactly why you can easily trade for them. The only thing that’s broken is the lack of value that Madden puts on guards. It’s almost impossible to trade for great tackles.

Trade logic is completely broken in this game. Teams won't even give up an 80-rated veteran wideout for 2 firsts and an 83-rated safety but you can get a whole o-line of All Pros for a box of donuts

Yo RBT I have a challenge for you, play a game where after every play you have to take a starter out most likely on play now All-Madden difficulty. You can put starters back in once the cycle is complete but only 1 at a time. If done right, your 2nd unit should at least play a few snaps on offense and defense. You can choose which position you want to replace like for instance, you can take your QB out last(11th offensive play) and put him back in after 1 play(comes back in on 13th offensive play). Rule #1 FBs dont count as they rarely see the field as it is. Rule #2 you can't put backups in as starters to start out.
Rule #3 no using top 5 teams
Rule #4 play against a top 5 team Optional: If you want to spice it up even more, once the 2nd unit is fully in they have to finish the drive before you can begin taking them out.
I know it's a bit long but cant give you any loopholes to expose lol
