Super scenery. The brochs were probably robbed to build the cottages. Back after a self imposed break from RUclips so some catching up to do. (Amberann by another name, couldn’t get my old channel back so l subscribed to it to access all the channels l had subscribed to 🤣) Looking forward to looking back at your vids
Aww bud i was wondering what happened to you! I thought id maybe offended you! Hahaha im good at that but you are one of the origional crew! So happy you are back! I do say that the cottages were build using the stones from the Dun but it was soo windy i just cut it out!
@@ArranOfAlba You offend anyone, l don’t think so 🤣. I’ve just been down the list to the Bone Cave vid. Didn’t realise it has been 4 months. That is a super location. Oh to be young again. After my next birthday l will start again so that next year l will be 1 😂
We were over that way last week. Loch Ewe rather than Loch Broom. We we discussing who/what/where about various buildings and decided we hated antiquarians as well.
Hey man, I have a question for you. I have recently read about 17th, 18th century Highland Scottish Hill walking. It said you have to learn how to do it. Do you know anything about it? I live in the mountains of North Carolina, for now and I'd like to know how. (Red Davey) David Cohen Crumpton
Hi Arran. I would like to have an in depth correspondence with you regarding research I have been doing on the history of BROCHS. Far too much to be put in this context. I am working on assumptions that I can supply new solutions to all the unanswered questions which has previously been bothering my mind for decades. A completely original angle as to WHO were responsible for the original tower structures, and WHY they were erected. Definitely not what has been accepted by so many for so long. All the blurb which you have been churning out, I am sorry to say, is just mindless baloney. The established well known archaeologists are ignoring my efforts to get them interested, to change their perception of the origins of the society which produced these structures.( Nothing about aliens or time travellers, so don't worry ) But they still don't come up with sound and satisfying reasons themselves. They go round grinding, infinitely diminishing circles without trying to expand their ways of thinking, clinging to so many obviously worn out established ideas. Perhaps someone like yourself with a younger sharper mind and not bogged down with acceptance to the usual standard solutions, could be helpful to my research. I would like to know more about your background. Student? Keen amateur? What? Don't worry I am not making a personal pitch. I am a much matured older female who just loves Scottish History. The information I have collected is going into a novel . . .(IF I live long enough to finish it!) My email is btimmoms105@gmail.com if you would be interested to find out more it would be a genuine scoop for you to present this idea to the world.
