I lost my son on 12 August 2023. He sent me this song last year February as we were very close. It brings me solace, yet so bittersweet. I listen to it on days when missing him becomes so unbearable and appreciate the fact that he was always grateful fir tge sacrifices I made as a single parent.

this song has come on the radio many times. I Live with my grandma due to my mom passing away when i was 12 months old from cancer.. And My dad is a unstable druggy. She Adopted me when i was 9. We always cry when this comes on the radio. My Grandma says its because it makes her think about what she could've done to make her son better (my dad), she felt like she messed up on so much raising him, and she wished she could redo it, thats why shes such a amazing grandma to me.. She New she messed up and wanted to do better with me when she adopted me. Thank you LANY, this is on my list of songs that are following me to my grave. Its special to me, it truly is.
My dad has stage 4 pancreatic cancer and my mom has had epilepsy all her life. This song brings me to reality of losing them. So when I take care of them I will never take it for granted. Love your parents everyday cause one day they may not be there when you need them the most.

When my depression got worse at age 14, i started to isolate myself and now im 21 and have no friends. I don’t mind i guess but sometimes i wish i had someone. Especially when something cool happens or i learn something fascinating i think, “i NEED TO TELL-“ and remember that i have no one to talk to. I love my family but we have nothing in common so i can’t talk to them about anything. In conclusion, i might be alone but i don’t always feel alone but when i do...it sucks. My brother died 2 years ago and we weren’t close either but during his last few months here, we started to talk a little but more. I started to feel like maybe we could be not only siblings but maybe friends too. We didn’t get the chance to obviously so i daydream about how it would’ve been. My imagination saves me.

Agreed! Dont take anyone in your life that you love. I've lost two siblings, teo best friends and my dad who drank himself to death because he couldn't live with the pain. We had to put our dog down today, the pain hurts so much. I do my best to hold onto the amazing memories i had with all of them to find strength and to try and understand why I'm still here and they aren't.
Tell them you love them and let the little things go as they are meaningless in life. ❤

I've been really sad for the past few days. Been ruining all my artworks, ripping some of em, deleting most of the photos in my gallery, not talking to my friends, nor my family, uninstalled some of my apps, deleted half of my videos, and deleted some songs, I was about to finally give up but I heard this song again. Had me in tears so much. I want to let go of this life but I still want to stay with my mom, she's the only person who stayed in my whole life.
