Nice to see Wout van Aert having success in 2024. It’s been a bad year for Visma (by Visma standards). Maybe these stage victories will salvage a bit of the season for them.
well no competion. this vuelta is almodt as dull as last year. no point watching when you know who wins. Anyway good for wout but he dosent care if he aint beating whales over plankton

Wout is on equal mountain points with Adam Yates. A "sprinter".
I don't think anyone that is more than a casual fan of cycling refers to Wout as solely a sprinter.
Mountain points dont get decided in the first rwo weeks of the vuelta...
Wout is not a sprinter nor does anyone think of him as such.
He is a classics rider who is also a world class time trialist, a great sprinter and a very good climber as well.
As well as an elite world champion cyclo-cross rider
I liked Robbie McKewen’s description of WVA today when he said he is a world class all terrain vehicle

I think he wants to be enthusiastic and cool at the same time. Trying to sound sincere but often sounding sarcastic. When he says at the end “this race is uhmayzing”….you can’t help thinking “really?”….yesterday was amazing in some ways….today less so…..
