Love your strong family bond rooted in God, and your dedication to each other. You know you trust her not to run off, and she knows she not going anywhere.
I been married to my Filipina for 17 years and she lives with me in the USA. I think it has been very good for her. She has more confidence in herself and has not lost any of her upbringing. We will be moving to the Philippines soon and she has the more confidence of surviving if something ever happens to me.
I'm glad for you Bro. May I ask? Is your Filipina wife younger than you? And if so , by how many years?
@ my wife is 30 years younger than I
Thanks for talking about the money side of the visa and touching on the difference between spousal/fiancée visas versus a tourist visa. I was attempting the K-1 (fiancée) visa, which is the same cost...just seems to be less at the whim of the immigration officer on approval. Unfortunately my Filipina fiancée didn't understand my cost concerns...we got to the very end, she passed her interview, but still had to wait for something with her medical process, and just decided it wasn't worth the wait anymore and decided to leave me...right at the end of the process. It is devastating in and of itself...but to add all of those costs on top of the failed relationship is completely demoralizing.
What a wonderful video! We are excited that you will be visiting the US soon, and you will have a great time. I live a few blocks from Sea World in Orlando, and 15 minutes from Disney World, it really is a wonderful area for both tourists and locals. Wishing you both the very best, and God's blessings. :)
@@stevekeetertheloathlydaddy6636 so expensive now! I lived in Cocoa Florida in the 90s and it was wicked cheap. I moved here almost two years ago I can’t believe how expensive things are the taxes, especially the homeowners insurance and car insurance. It’s cheaper to live up north now my taxes were the same there and I had a bigger house. I would never move to Florida again of course now I’m stuck here because of the prices of housing have gone down and the interest rates are through the roof. So if you have a mortgage most people
Can’t afford the insurance and you have to have insurance on your property if you hold a mortgage
I was military when I married a Thai national. When I received orders back to the US, I put all my wife’s immigration expenses on my travel expenses claim. To my pleasant surprise the Navy payed for it.
lol, I would keep that to yourself...
@ That was in the late 1980s.
As you may already know, the U.S. has a new administration in office and this administration is very strict when it comes to visa and etc.. Best of luck to Leah and Bless on getting their visas approved!..👍🏾
Do Not, I repeat, DO NOT apply for the tourist visa (b2) if you are married to a US citizen. Nearly impossible to be approved. Your Filipina wife will be presumed to be using the tourist visa to immigrate which is an automatic cause for denial. Apply for the IR-1 visa. More expensive, but you’ll be approved if your marriage is legitimate.
My two cents guys; if you guys don’t know yet you will find out that a permanent resident in the US cannot stay longer than six months abroad or out of the United States 😅
just be aware of that and good luck guys!
Yup. You can only be out of the country a maximum of 180 days at a time, and then you must return to the States. If you don't, it puts your permanent resident (that's your green card) status in jeopardy. There is no restriction on the frequency of a green card holder leaving and then reentering the U.S., just the duration of those out-of-country absences. You can't go to another country for a couple of years and then expect to be waved through when you return to the States.
Agree on pursuing a spousal visa (IR1) as the B1/B2 is an almost automatic denial because of the presumption of immigration intent. To give you an idea of the current process time, I applied for my spousal visa on 26 December 2023 (I-130) - my wife is Thai - and we are still waiting for USCIS approval. The projected wait time for stage 1 (USCIS) approval is 16.5 months. After that the estimate is another 6 months for the National Visa Center review and getting the embassy interview. There are some important comsiderations to remember about maintaining the green card and making Leah eligible to claim your social security when she reaches 67. To be eligible for your social security Leah will need to reside in the US for 5 years while married. One more important social security benefit. All your legal children may be able to receive monthly payments up to 50% of your social security payment - suppose your social security payment is $2000 per month. One child would also receive $1,000 per month. Each legal child would receive a benefit, but the amount is reduced by a percentage with more than 1 child. This child payment is made until they reach 18.
That’s Great your really going to love Disneyland it’s the happiest place on earth 🌍🙏🏾❤️
New York & New Jersey has the best food. Just saying! NY has everything from shopping to nightlife & amazing restaurants. NJ has excellent food, the jersey Shore & gambling (Atlantic City). Florida has the great weather & as you mentioned Disney World. Your kids will love it. (Just some points of interest). There’s so much to see in the 🇺🇸
Safe travels!!
& NY & NJ = HIGH Prices and cost of living
They might want to ask him to go back to the US and establish residency. My husband lived with me since 2019 and they had him go back to the US and send proof he’s been paying for the house tax, utility bills, etc.
and you can’t live outside the US for more than 6 months..so 6 months here and 6 months in the Phils is best.
It’s ok for your Filipina to VISIT the U.S. ONLY! Just be sure to NEVER allow her to become a U.S. citizen! Why? Because to RISK of her then having the RIGHT to divorce you for ANY reason is just NOT an acceptable risk! No matter how much you think she loves you! I brought my Filipina wife to the U.S. for 2 years! Then we sold EVERYTHING in the U.S. and moved full time to the Philippines! Still married after 10 years! NO divorce! IS happiness! 😊🙏🏻
It took us 18 months with the help of a US congressman.
Got married here in the Philippines, makes it more difficult.
Many trips back and forth from the US.
Back here for the moment, but have go back to the US again so she does not void her green card
So many challenges along the way.
Best of luck. My fiance and I are going through marriage planing and visa too. Lots of documents work.
I know a couple of Americans who are married to Filipinas, and it took two years to bring them to the U.S.. We got stuck in the Philippines during 2020, which was a nightmare. My Fiancee'S visa ran out all over again costs and all.
Wow
Everyone wants to see Disneyland and Universal Studios and Leah wants to eat sushi. 😂😂😂😂 I really laughed so much.
Where did you get world map on wall in background? Thank you
Online shop
I think the bigger concern is the income requirements to sponsor a spouse. It seems to be the biggest hurdle for those living in PH and wanting to take their family to the US.
Leah is in her 20's and Gary in his 60's. Of course Leah will have another man in the US. It's not a question of fidelity but biology. I hope Gary has good health for a long time because he is a caring and honest husband. 😀🙏
Listen to the video they are only visiting….Leah isn’t going of with another man!
@@marcrichard7251 Yes, now. But they talked about immigration in the future. It's the dream of most Filipinas living in the US.
@pilot.of.paradise nonsense . most Filipinas want to stay at home with the large family group.
@pilot.of.paradise Walgreen exactly 👍….
My filipina fiance was recently denied a B2 tourist visa. Not unexpected. Now I am trying a K1 visa. I am 61 but plan to work until about 67. If she lives in USA for 5 years, she can apply for survivor benefits after I pass away. If she works in the USA for 10 years, she can qualify for her own social security.
Waiting times for CR1 spousal visas could start to take longer with the new President making changes to immigration. It’s worth trying to apply for a visa, though. The earlier the better. Processing times may be longer a year from now.
🤞
I'd say yes, you should take her, it'll be a good learning experience as well as fun. It may also give her some incite into why you say and do things the way you do, and she'll be better to understand your ways. I would however say, wait 4 years for the current administration to be out of office. It would be nice to see Leah doing some videos afterwards about her experience and comparing those experiences between the 2 countries, good AND BAD.
the current administration isn't stopping tourist or spousal visas... only illegal entries.
Maybe have a look around Laguna or Lipa City. I will probably take a closer look at those areas after I finish my lease in Tagaytay. Don't get me wrong, I really enjoy Tagaytay...but, I think there would be more value in living out of the city and coming to visit occasionally.
Spousal visas take longer because it is not considered a conditional visa like the fiancé visa. You may see a shorter timeline if your visa is processed through the Manila US Embassy, but if you will be going to CA the processing center there is the one with the longest backlog. Bless should be able to ride on Leah's visa for the spousal visa. No visa is guaranteed, there is absolutely an interview determination for the spousal visa. It can be denied if they question the supporting documents. Unlikely but possible.
It is a hassle but you get 10 years. When I return from the US in July I will try to get my girlfriend a Tourist Visa for next year.
Gary, I think if Leah gets a green card she cannot be out of the country the US more than six months. You might wanna recheck that.
Your wife ( what does Filipina have to do with it) it comes across like taking a wife to the U S. who happens to be from the Philippines, is extremely different than taking a wife from Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, or Thailand. I'm sure you married her for who she is, not simply because she's a Filipina like millions of others.
I filed for a spouse visa 8/8/2024 as of today 2/1/2025....10 month estimate on USCIS site
Honestly, I wouldn't go the tourist visa route. My future bride has one, but that came before me. One thing they look at is not only the reason the person is going to the U.S., but they also look at your bank account, and what you own in the Philippines. Basically they are trying to determine if you are a good candidate to overstay their visa. Because my future wife (who is widowed as I am) owns a beautiful home in her country, has three children, and as a long established career as a nurse, she was successful in getting a tourist visa, and she has honored it every step of the way. Meanwhile, we are in the final steps of our journey to the U.S. on a K1 visa - well we hope we are. She has her and her girls biometric appointments, and another one for their physicals, and another one for their interviews - all in Manila - BUT from the first appointment to the last one will be 15 days. Instead of flying back and forth, they have arranged their schedules and they are just staying in Manila. Our journey with the fiancé visa began in March 2024, and if things go as planned, they will arrive here in May. Good luck on your journey.
Disney World is bigger and better. You also have Sea World and Universal Studios nearby.
& so are the Hurricanes floods house prices & House insurance?
Would a visa be easier if you called it a mission trip? 😊
Good job, kids.
Thank you for watching !
It's highly unlikely they would grant your "wife" a tourist visa since she is your WIFE and not a tourist. LOL I don't know what your immigration status is as it sounds like you're not US born either, maybe GC'd or Nat'd. Sounds like a complex case. You say "you don't what your plans will be....." that's a red flag to the immigration officer and it is an investigation so they will review YT and SM for intent.... especially hers. Bank accounts will be reviewed and if she has PayPal transactions from multiple "male" sources that's another red flag. Especially if from only male sources.....think about it. Read the guidelines of the investigation. You should consult an immigration lawyer based in the US (which is not cheap) and they will educate you as to the best approach. Also consider consulting a US family law lawyer and get yourself educated as to the risk of bringing a foreign wife to the US, because the minute she and the children step foot in the US, the marriage enters the jurisdiction of the US. Many a Christian man have been decimated by US family courts. Its best to be educated. Timothy 3:16, Romans 15:4. And Good Luck.
British husband and situation in USA why bother? so many reasons not to.
Yes Trump is destroying our country! More interested in revenge than lowering grocery prices I went to the store the other day eggs have gone up 60% since Trump‘s been president. I know part of it’s due to the bird flu and that’s another thing. He’s basically closed the center for disease control so we have no way of monitoring how bad the bird flu is going. I see another pandemic coming with no plans again. This man belongs in prison. He’s a rapist and a felon.
Brother...Don't do it! I'm talking from experience. She will become as these other modern women and ask for a divorce and take everything.
You will REALLY need to spend more time in the U.S. if Leah will get an immigrant visa. There needs to be a legit intent to live in the U.S.
Don't forget Texas BBQ
Can I give this a thousand thumbs up?
@Rebelrocker69 Sure, you're welcome to
I did it, just for the children's education. Marriage didn't make it. Kids are thriving.
For the first two years you have to spend most of your time in the US to qualify for the 10 permanent green card.
Hi guys
Dont do it . Then they become westernised . Then she is no longer pinay . And no charm
always remember your a team the devil is all around us and trust in the lord to guide both of you my sermon
just take here to the UK?
America isnt what it used to be
G; day guys, what does it mean when You Tube puts a line through my comments, do you guys get to read any of my comments??
13 months and still waiting for spousal visa.
You can start with uscis(1st stage) now. It’ll take a year for that to be approved then another year for NVC and interview schedule in Manila.
1 year-uscis
1 year- NVC and medical, biometrics, interview
Hopefully it’ll be quicker for you guys.
What is going on in the U.S that makes you concerned?
I’m sure he’s referring to the felon and rapist that is killing this country now what happened to the grocery prices going down? All he wants to do is punish people that had every right to investigate him
I cant place his accent. Sounds more European than American. But it could just be my American hearing
Trump has talked about allowing Filipinos to enter the US without a visa. So it may be the case where all you need is for the Philippines to allow it.
Proof? I call BS.
Go to perplexity and ask this question for proof this is a false claim - "has Trump has talked about allowing Filipinos to enter the US without a visa?"
@webnomad1453 I heard say it in a speech during his campaign
@AndyG5435 I don't care what you think dude
He’s talking about tourism
Been married for 5 years and ur wife still can’t drive?! 😳🤔
He doesn't sound American and if y'all want to come to America it's crazy over here she will see
You will be able to make more money there. I would go for a few years and return with 50k.
Say bye bye😢
You have no chance of getting a tourist visa for your wife and child.
Noooo, dont do it!
Do you think Trump is the right idea to go there though.
I would not bring her to the US now. It’s not safe for her here and I doubt they would let her in.
Take Leah and the kids to the U.S and plan on staying 5 years. By staying in the U.S for 5 years, Leah can apply for what's called survivors benefits and that is a lot of money if something should happen to you. Trust me Leah, you and your children will LOSE LOTS of money if you don't go to the U.S and live there for 5 years. Survivor benefits will protect you and the kids the rest of your life.
My wife is 30 years younger than I
I hope you get approved for the Tourist Visa BUT I am telling you it's very very rare they will approve. My wife is from Malaysia, and we applied for the Tourist Visa, and she was denied. My wife has a great job, her own condo and is financially stable and yet they still denied her. The officer told her if she has a husband, she should apply for spousal visa not tourist. Good Luck Buddy.
Gary, I think if Leah gets a green card she cannot be out of the country the US more than six months. You might wanna recheck that.
