Stand is imp, but players like lance klusner , shiv Chanderpaul .. you will never get them out easily… even Lara plays in a diff way and diff position when he stands… it’s all how you see the ball till end it matters a lot … check Steve smith stance and how he plays test match cricket

Not only head whole body balance needed for that hand and feet movement.But the focus should be towards the head and foot movement,not towards the balance. Otherwise some times batsmen will be having great balance but won't be playing the shots needed..

Old days before the helmet came in ,batters kept the bat grounded. But with the helmet on there’s a risk of head falling. So batsmen tend to pick up the bat up stance and faced the bowlers. Also the bat became heavier, so lifted bat is bit easier.
If somebody is 6.3 and has full size 6 bat, hus stance for knocking ground, and some is 5.8, his stance on same size bat will differ or not, first figure out this, maal ta 😂
