They seem to be sending this out to multiple pwople to 'preview' but not review, which whiost I understand the why of risk/reward is annoying and seems to lack confidence in their product.
I was worried about that, too, but saw that the zombie one has already come out and has pretty positive reviews. Looking at the progress on the Viking one, it looks like they’re pretty far into the scenario design process and working on the narrative. Those kinds of games take a LONG time to design if you want all the scenarios to actually be good and the story to be interesting. I’m used to waiting a long time for games like that, and the timeline for progress on that game looks comparable to others I have backed. And I can see the benefit of having a couple of projects going just to avoid total burnout from working on only one major project at a time. It’s a risk for sure, but those were my thoughts as I decided to back this one. I’m a HUGE cat person though, and love this type of game, so I’m ok with waiting a long time. I wouldn’t be surprised if this one doesn’t deliver for a couple of years.
While I appreciate your concerns, undelivered games are fairly normal, it's totally fine to have a bunch of games in the product pipeline. Don't get me wrong, it is of course possible that a company will not deliver, but 99 percent of the time multiple games is just part of product life cycles. You do have to back responsibly of course, but in my opinion undelivered games are not a red flag in an of itself.
I mean, two of my favorite things on earth. Dungeon crawlers and cats!
lol love that shirt. Looks like a cool game I’m excited to paint them.
Good french pronunciation of the game's title! Alex would have botched it! 😅😋
I absolutely would have...
Vive! Viva is Spanish.
Thanks!

“LE” fromage…
:)
If I’m not mistaken, this publisher has 2 games to still deliver.
Not a good look BGC
