In Studienkolleg you can work but only on weekends and holidays also chances of your blocked account getting empty is low so in the visa extension they will extend your visa based on your remaining amount. If you have extra funds you will get visa for much longer period.

I was also doubtful whether I would get one, so I always had private studienkolleg as a backup option. Some people applied to Saarland so they always had saarland as the backup option but if you’ll keep Saarland aside then only very few were able to clear the Aufnahmeprüfung. And I don’t really have a profit in making a video about Paderbonn and also a lot of people who are already here in Germany think it’s a good option if you don’t get anywhere.
