- In this video I bring you along on a day trip to Stanley & Repulse Bay, on a weekend adventure in Hong Kong. We explore what Hong Kong has to offer outside the bustling city. Stanley is located on the south part of Hong Kong Island and only a short bus ride away from the city. We started the day by attempting to hike to the Rhino Rock. After the hike we walked around Stanley exploring the market, waterfront, the old police station and the pier. We also sat down to have lunch overlooking the harbour. After lunch we headed to Repulse Bay beach for a refreshing swim.

Hi there, I was based in Stanley in 80-81… When the Queen’s Own Highlanders were supporting the Hong Kong Police in the New Territories. I remember Stanley Market and Repulse Bay very well. Thanks for making the video, it brings back some fond memories of the place 🌞
