Facebook did the same thing to me. I tried logging into my FB account with a new laptop. They wouldn't let me login saying it wasn't authorized for security purposes. A few weeks later, tried it again, and this announcement came across the screen saying my account is in violation of FB guidelines and my account will be removed in 180 days.. WTF? I have a camping group with about 3000 users I can no longer administrate, and my Marketplace listing have been deleted. (selling a lawnmower). They say I have to appeal this, but there is no way to login to do that and no phone number to call... So... fk facebook

Anyway - cheers for the extreme back catalogue of all-round goodness/humour guitar-fettling wise, I'm a fellow sufferer of "it was like this/that when I bought it" sorting guitars and basses for mates, and almost without exception = Wish I'd Never Offered In The First Place! (with beer being my only request for payment).

I quit FB a few years ago. FB started to take down my post, edit them and at times would put me in FB for posting things in support of political things. I even had a guitar channel on FB. On there they would take down my videos or put up some kind of banner over the video. WTH? So I shut down my FB stuff.
Even YT has done some things against me. But now I don't do as many videos as I once did. I have not missed FB at all. I did have 5,000 followers/friends on there.
I had a YT channel that I have just gotten over 1,000 subs. Had to take it down because of some AH that started to stalk me and the authorities told me to take down my channel. Nothing ever was done about the guy. Only because I did not have the money to stop him.
If it happens again I will take it all down and never again will I be a part of any media. They are no help in this kind of thing, what's so ever. But I can do things to protect myself! Like, stop using any media! I do have some things I can tell ya on this issue! But the big one is they are not interested in keeping people safe!
