Using the Big Mek to deliver them can then bypass screening units to target vehicles, and can hide behind walls until charge. Also the S12 D3 drilla is decent against vehicles
You sadly can’t move through the engagement range of enemy models with the Big Mek rule (for example, crusher stampedes strat to walk through models and walls specifically states you can move through engagement range)
@@Paterrie Obviously goes against the spirit of the rule anyone who tried this rules lawyer stuff I'd probably just pack up and never play them again.
@@BoomstarPrime or you could play the rule as it is written as there are obviously other wordings that take engagement range into account. It enables your mek gunz to move through eachother and terrain. That is what he is for.
@@Paterrierules as written made it warbosses couldn't get their bonuses if they were in a truck. But literally everyone ignored it. Ork rules are terribly written.
One thing you forgot to mention with Dread Mob is that on the 5 to 6 roll of Try Dat Button, the -2 AP buff is applied on a 4+ if its a vehicle or monster. You've gone from a -2 AP 3 Dam to -4 AP 3 Dam
I think a secret strength for this unit is that it doesn't NEED to be led by a character to be good. Outside of Bully Boyz, you can have your warbosses in other units that need the +1 To Hit a lot more, like Nobz.
I don't think it's quite that bad. Nobs cost 21 pts per model, or 10.5 per wound, while the Breaka Boyz are 23.3 pts per model, or 11.7 pts per wound, so they aren't crazy overcosted compared to nobz. While I wouldn't complain about a cost cut, that doesn't seem too egregious for a squad of specialized nobz that provide an additional option against high-toughness vehicles and monsters.

It's more you can bump them to AP-4 in Dread Mob that's pushing me in that direction.

Wooo! #1
140 for 6 sucks
Nobz are far better and can do more for less
Nobz aren't great into high toughness vehicles, these guys trash them. Breaka Boyz do need a point cut though
This guys destroy custodes. It's what you need.
140 is definitely too much.

They’re a bit too pricey. 130 or 125 and I think they’d be very spicy.
Less lethal edition ffs...
6 weak models that need to get into melee range. This is a trash unit.
Yeah. A shame orks have no transports. 😂
You not being able to play doesn't make them trash.
They are pretty strong just 140 is slightly too much.
@@ivobleijenberg3171 None that you can charge out of. Which makes them useless.
@@chetmanley1885 XD you mean YOU can't play them. And they are still trash.
