2 months before I saw you hellah.. And you became motivator for me... Thanks my friend you changed my life... I have completed 55 days continuously , and my goal is 365 days without gap. And this secret I shared only with you and my dream is Run with you just only one day
Hey Hellah, I'm a big fan from South Africa. I'm on day 4 of my 365 days and I must say I have watched your videos everyday since I started. Your quite the motivator my man. keep up the good work.
It’s interesting how adrenaline(?) alters your breathing. It’s hard for me to run a continuous pace, so I often just run faster and then walk. Sometimes I run for few km, am tired and start panic breathing. Then I pause and walk. Turn on some nice music and start running again. If I then turn on some really awesome pushing music like some dubstep I get such a rush from it, I can run with a very fast pace for a really good stretch and have a really calm breath while doing so. After that my lung really burns but it feels so awesome, you still don’t feel like you don’t get enough breath. You also recover really fast and can continue running further with normal pace without being tired. But it’s a big strain on the body, feels great but not if you do it every day. I’m trying to find out how to feel great running every day, I feel like I’m more the sprinter guy. But running too fast like I do doesn’t feel sustainable over the days. And running continuous feels like shit to me.
I thank God for showing me your video! I just started running and decided to dedicate running because of your video of running everyday! I wanted to know the beginner tips and I'm glad you have a video addressing this!
This is the first video about good form I will even download. You absolutely nailed it. Especially the "run less but better". For me (and a lot of other runners), running is mostly about speed and endurance. But speed and endurance are useless if you try too hard and mess up your form, you literally learn how to run with a bad form/posture. Thank you for that bling/spark/whatever in my mind🤗
I stumbled on your page earlier this morning and I am very impressed I am a new runner and would like to continue running and have followed your advice thank you
Love watching your videos bro because of three reason : getting information and motivation and improving my English while listening to you. Greetings from Russia and thanks for doing what you do! Keep on!
Hey Hellah. Today is my day 5 of 365 running. I ran 3 miles yesterday! I have ran long distances before, but, not everyday. So I was a little used to it. I didn't run everyday back then because my left shin bone would start hurting a lot. I have found that if I put less pressure on it when running, the feeling of it hurting goes away a little. I've also been bodybuilding on and off for two years. Just wanted to say, thank you so much for the inspiration you have given me, I have lifted heavier and even ran farther distances, all thanks to you and my gf. Seriously dude, keep it up. A lot of people look up to you. Run safe brother
I look up to you and I've actually started doing long distance running. I do 10 miles on Mondays and 2 miles for recovery Wednesday and 4 miles on Friday. Tuesdays and Thursdays and Saturday are HIIT workouts no running. Sunday is rest day. Thank you!
Been searching for a running form video that spoke to me for soo long… and I have found it through you! Thank you for these tips and tricks!! So eager to get out there for my next run!
Great and very helpful tips. Thank’s a lot. I’ve started to run from my childhood, but I’ve never tried to do it everyday. So I’ve just started to run every day. This inspiration came from you. Let’s see how far I’ll go. Hugs from Moscow, Russia
HellahGood I did my 1st month of every day running. Your words about strength you get while doing something day by day makes much more sense now. It’s not so easy sometimes, but I still have bunch of inspiration to keep doing it more and more. I’m thrilled for how long I can do it. Thank’s a lot and have a great day
Wondering what app you are using on your phone there? Looks like a really neat format showing a summary of day by day run distances. Really loving the videos and your positive energy.
Yo hellah you should totally watch into barefoot running shoes. Certainly a game changer and significantly healthier for the body in terms of injury prevention etc
At the age of 30, I've never run more than about 2.5 miles at once. And that was just a few times in all these years. Started last week, completed 21 miles this week with 5 miles a day for the past three days. I wouldn't have thought it was possible last week. lol
One question for you, after about 6-7 miles, I have extreme joint pain, how can I fix or relieve that, I’m 12 and growing so don’t know if it’s just that or something else, thanks in advance😃
Think about diet, eat plenty of anti-inflammatory foods aswell; chia seeds, flax seeds, walnuts , fruits, green vegetables , cruciferous vegetables, turmeric, oats... most whole plant foods in general 😀👍 Hella good has some good what I eat in a day videos, watch; Simmnet nutrition, Brian turner, Jon Venus, Healthy crazy cool, Maddie lymburner, RIP essesylten.
Maybe not enough stretching before running or you need to strengthen your legs with exercises like squats and lunges. You might try looking into some plyometric leg exercises to increase your leg strength
you are awesome man! keep it going let's go! PS: your body looks very nice and I wonder if you have achieved your awesome shape just by running or have you been working out at a gym as well?
Wow perfect timing! I legit found you last night and was hoping you had a video on running form. I’ve heard of forefoot, mid-foot, and heel strike and how it causes injuries. With that being said do you suggest mid-foot for long runs and forefoot for sprints?
TanicWhisper06 heel striking does not cause injury, overstriding does. It’s fine to heel strike as long as you are landing under your Center of mass (hip). Footstrike does not matter at all, never try to force a footstrike
When I feeling low I throw myself out of the bed and bear crawl to the shower and turn on the cold water😅 I like running in the rain but im extremely clumsy so be careful cause I've almost face planted concrete a few times. who knows you might come to enjoy it...

I plan on joining the Marines. You have to run 1.5 miles in under 12-13 min I think to qualify and a 3 mile run in under 28 min but a perfect score is 19 min. I want to run 1.5 miles in 9-10min. How long would it take me to achieve that if I just started running?
I'm not a pro runner by no means but my background is in Track and Field as a sprinter and jumper. Also I'm in the Navy. I hate distance but as you may know we do have a PRT consisting of pushups, situps, and the 1.5 mile. When I joined about 3 years ago I trained for the 1.5 mile before bootcamp for 3 months. Once I got in bootcamp I would say I ran it in under 11 mins for the final. That's when I was "trying". Now I can run it between 11 to 12 mins because I'm heavier and don't train like I should. Navy isn't has physically demanding as the other branches so when group activities come around if you don't put in the work or lacking good biomechanics, you will suffer. But to answer your question, start now. Army and Marines run a ton! Almost to the point of having a medical waiver by tearing your knees up. So, by saying that focus on safety and endurance. Thanks for the video. How to up your stamina? Keep running? Pushnto the limits? Or is there any ways to do it?

Can you make a video about foot striking? Lately my calves have been on fire during my run and I’m pretty sure it’s because of how I land on my feet
Not going to run for long time...but after watching ur video i cant wait any more ..thnx fr d video...

At the age of 30, I've never run more than about 2.5 miles at once. And that was just a few times in all these years. Started last week, completed 21 miles this week with 5 miles a day for the past three days. I wouldn't have thought it was possible last week. lol
I went for a jog and seeing the first reaction you do is laughing. I realized just how unfit I am. This helps.
Nice! Would really love to be this fit! You talk a a lot about running. I run 4 times a week.... But how much lifting should I do?
I lifted a lot before I started running and was super built up muscularly.. I'd definitely say to try to get at least 2 lift workouts in a week
So down to earth

Hi Hellah Good, what is your opinion of weighted jackets, or weights on your ankles or arms?
Wow perfect timing! I legit found you last night and was hoping you had a video on running form. I’ve heard of forefoot, mid-foot, and heel strike and how it causes injuries.

Yes mid to forefoot for long distance and forefoot for sprinting like mostly on your toes
C. James Why do you say this? Did you learn this from someone or in school?
HellahGood thansk
I want to increase my 1 mile time
If i think about taking deep breaths, and improving my form
Do you think i can improve my mile

100% yes! form and breath will be huge in increasing your time
How do you go out when you're feeling low and it's raining outside?
I'm 56, been running 31years without missing a week. Running in the rain is my favorite. Go for it, you will love it too.
When I feeling low I throw myself out of the bed and bear crawl to the shower and turn on the cold water😅 I like running in the rain but im extremely clumsy so be careful cause I've almost face planted concrete a few times. who knows you might come to enjoy it...

Hey Hellah, I noticed you always shoot your vids when the sun's out or you're seen running in the sun. SO whtat is your recommended time of the day for running and why ?
It’s easier to film when there’s sun outside if it were later or darker it would be harder to film
That was informatively. Thanks a lot
thank you!
The panic breathing one is hard for sprinters😰 or at least for me😭
brother, when i make my upper body straight while running, my lower back hurts after some km. what can i do for it?
I’m no professional but it sounds like your hips are tight
I Love your being funny
what app do you use to track the distance you run?
Running watches such as garmins. These are the best for tracking runs, but can also tell you your current pace, distance you've gone, time you've been running, etc, _while_ you are running.
