Ren has been rapping and singing together since he was about 17 years old. He started out producing drum and bass at 13yrs old. He's a multi instrumentalist. Singer, songwriter, producer, and director. Makes most of his beats, and mixes and masters as well, but not on everything. He does all of those things at a high level. Ren lives and breathes music. He is the embodiment of music.
Ren has 2 chronic illnesses, Lyme Disease and Mast Cell Disease, and a whole host of serious associated conditions and illnesses. He's in constant pain. At his worst he was pretty much bedridden, in chronic pain, on a severely restricted, liquid diet and unable to sleep properly, for 7 years! He's spent the last 14 months in a clinic in Calgary, Canada, undergoing a whole range of experimental medical treatments, in an attempt to repair some of the damage to his body and brain.
Theres a youtube short on Rens Channel , that's titled "a day in the life of REN" where he shows you the 50 pills and IV stuff... yeah i was the one that said 50 pills lol Ren is the goat!
He plays piano, bass guitar, spanish guitar, electric guitar, drums, melodica and produces all his own music. Oh yeah, and directs or co- directs all his videos

That's what I said too. I will NOT watch a reaction to an interview. Too long, for one thing. I'm only a music reaction fan. I watch reactions 2 to 3 hours every night, and follow tons of reactors. I don't have time for movies or interviews reactions.

"Suicide" and For Joe is a truthful beautiful song tribute to his friend Joe. Nice reaction sir. Yes Ren is a legend in his own right. He has dropped a BTS (behind the scenes) of the making of this video on his patreon channel. A standout clip from the BTS is Ren sitting on a couch rehearsing his lyrics - with a drip in his arm. He is still undergoing daily treatment to restore his damaged immune system, while at the same time producing music with his small legendary team.

I think the Zach Sang or Justin Hawkins interviews are better to get more background on Ren. Both Knox interviews are good but the older one is obviously their first sit down. In the second one they've already developed more of a friendship.
i’d be here to watch you react to ren interviews if you decide to do that, i’m constantly on the lookout for those but not many do them :/ totally up to you tho, most importantly is you watch them for your own sake cuz they bring a new level of understanding and admiration/respect for not only ren and his music but for ren as a wonderful human being :)
Ren has been blogging for a while now Knox interview goes into detail of his illness ( Lyme Disease ) misdiagnosed for 8 years and they treated him for mental illness telling and treating him for the mental issues with some heavy shit !! With his body falling apart during this whole process. Giving him mental questions.. Try his 1 million utube thank you speech. It is short and reveling .. Knoxs interview is like 3 hrs !! Lyme disease is easily killed with antibiotics IF you know you have it and immediately treat it., otherwise it is very complicated to treat, Ren was untreated for a very long time, thus the disease has caused a great deal of damage to his immune system I think and is complicated to treat. I am not a medical person, just am from the part of the U.S. where it is common (New England), have no idea how those damn ticks found Ren, traveling ticks, who would of thought.

I love your reactions but I have one quibble: please stop refering to Ren as if he is a RUclipsr. And interesting that you used Drake as an example of :"mainstrean" since Drake was the atist that Ren replaced at #1 on the UK charts in October. If you define mainstream as hitting the charts, well Sick Boi charted in the USA in addition to debiting #1 in UK, so he is already there.
They can be both... the look of absolute dignity, especially by the lady farthest from Ren, is an empowering message. And they got at least as much time on camera as Ren did. This wasn't Ren-with-helpers, they formed something greater than any of them by getting together 🙂
