- After hours and hours of farming gold and camping the Trading Post, I finally have perhaps THE most geared Rogue in Dark and Darker. With my trusty Viola I enter solo into High-Roller looking for worth opponents. Surely I won't mess up and die in an incredibly dumb manner... Surely...

My perks are at the start but I should've mentioned it somewhere in the video, I'm running: Backstab, Poisoned Weapon, Stealth, Ambush, Rupture, Hide
I mean people can always See them when you open the inventory so its fine
Why play Rupture instead of weakpoint when you have that much of weapon dmg ? Is it to combinate with ur weapon passive ?

@@Repoze Rupture still has massive scalling, I currently do 11 per sec with rupture
The gameplay is really quiet, your voice overpowers any sound effects for me. If you find other people have the same opinion, can you please boost the gameplay sound and lower your voice volume? I'd love to be able to hear the stuff that you say you hear in the video to learn how things sound at distance, but I can't hear the game...
Barbs w/ pocket buffers being annoyed that they're getting kited is the funniest shit. Calling you a rat and being annoyed for bleeding them is hilarious. Great video.

Two players playing their characters correctly, are often annoyed at the other player for playing correctly.
barb players are braindead, they get mad when people dont sprint into them and get one tapped
Watching a barbarian get 3 topped is the most Is satisfying thing I think I've ever seen
its like a weird kinda fucking drug i didnt know i was craving, like watching a great super hero tv show, hasnt been in a good one in a while, even had some bad guys at the end with the pussy ass trash talk

U can kill it with 2 hits, but you need more true weapon dmg too. Today killed full purple barb on 2 hits.

@@shu3684 nah i have + 27 weapon damage +7 phys dmg + 11 true phys dmg and playing 2x damage spells on Rouge without invisible.

@@Murasame13 It's still legendary quality so it has such high base damage. I love seeing people pay 200g for a green with +1 damage instead of a blue that hits for 5 more baseline.

It's so annoying after playing this game for so long when I'm trying to sell a blue for a max base roll dmg and the highest I can sell it for is like 100g, but a shit base dmg green with +5 dmg (which is still worse by default than the blue) sells for 250g. It is so frustrating when people don't understand what the substat is actually doing for the weapon.

@@Repoze hahaha. Ah, I already somewhat commented on it, but your chest piece can be upgraded a decent bit btw. If you still have the entire kit, I'd be down to donate my chest piece so you can have hypermaxed kit. It's a Marauder outfit epic, +3 Physical Power, +2 All, +4 Weapon DMG. Bought it for like 1500g, but I'd be down to see it put towards a mega build like this.

The terrible agony I feel is incomprehensible to any living organism. The amount of despair I feel is unstable, unbalanced, deranged even. I truly can’t live in this world if I can’t play my favorite game dark and darker. I’m so miserable. I can’t take this suffering I’ll do anything to play dark and darker again. This was my everything and you took it.

@@jackyoulation8012 nah even before that the barb is going around trash talking everyone because hes playing barb with a pocket healer/buffer and ranger. you can hear it faintly allot before the fights as well its hard to hear cause hes so far and repoze talks thru the vid but yeah

bag space for healing items later on, like when we get those addition bag slots at the bottom of the UI. Those are gonna be a big deal. How much loot he had to leave on the ground. Also I kind of hope they make items glow inside the inventory. So if lets say there is a blue ring, the outline of the cell holding that ring, glows blue.

That's a unique tier weapon, some of them have unique perks like calling down lightning or defying death. Fitting for the rarest and strongest loot in the game.
I saw an axe called Life after Death. It said When the wieldier would receive fatal damage instead their life is set to 1 and they become immune to all damage for 2 seconds.

There's also a Fighter sword that's in the same vein as this rapier called like Fulger or something with +20 magic lightning damage on hit and probably some sort of status on top that I can't recall.
Found out about it after getting absolutely obliterated by some chap and spectating his disgustingly full geared character rolling through the Goblin Cave -.-
Nearly 1 shot my ass, and though I hit him like 10-15 times first with the starter dagger he still had half HP at the end. Gear scaling is kinda nuts atm

The price of this weapon though is like 20-30k or something ridiculous, and yes it's gg but you can get a purple for 500g that's not that far behind it damage wise.

A good trick, lets say you closed the door being chased by a team. Always turn off the wall torches and play the shadows forcing them to pull out there torches leaving one or more vulnerable and /or scaring them off. Playing solo rogue all these playtests closing the torches has saved my ass and made me win so many 3v1s!

edit: I just noticed at 0:14 Viola effects says deals 2 additional magic damage and frostbites for 10 seconds,
but at 0:41 it is the opposite.. 10 magic damage and frostbite for 2 seconds.. weird 🤔

Pinpoint strike and ambush have been a mean combo like it so much more than rupture
LOVE THE CONTENT PLEASE MAKE MORE!
You can run all additional magic damage gear and deal more damage with your build. The flat damage from it double dips on your poison and on the viola. Where as weapon damage only scales the basic hit. Additional physical damage scales the basic hit and rupture which also makes it a more valuable stat the weapon damage. That being said since the poisoned weapon stacks its better to scale that way with viola.
True, but weapon damage scales ambush damage as well for a bigger first strike instead of DOT from bleed. It's a tradeoff of total DMG over time for more instant kill potential.
I do not mind Ilando, the guy who sold you the weapo.. but once he gets confident, he starts bully his friends, "can you survive a hit from me?" "10 gifted to oneshot my team" and once he lost all the gear.. he was.. begging and depressed.

I got lucky af and found a Badger Pendant with Will 3, +3 True Phys Damage, +5 Max Health, and +5 Additional Move Speed out of a normal dungeon, best thing I found all playtest lol.

im sure you know this but, +magic dmg scales insanely well with poison, each point of it adds one dmg to each tick, aka 15 +magic dmg would tick for 16 x 5, you should try it out sometime, its incredibly fun if you haven't. Ofc one hitting ppl is pretty dope too, but my god the poison build is satisfying, 2 stabs with a rapier + rupture and watch them bleed out in 2 seconds XD

They aren't that rare, you just have to farm bosses or buy them off the auction house. If you're running solo lobbies you're not going to find them often if at all.

yeah idk why rogue cowl is just straight up worse than leather cap, i think they should lower the rogue cowl's movespeed penalty from -5 to -3
