Ty for showing menu so well
You're very welcome.
Thanks for sharing with us. We’ve rode by there many times, but haven’t stopped to eat there yet but I hope we can try it there when we come up there the end of October. The food looks delicious 😋 🙌🏻👍🏻😇❤️
It's a great place. Give it a try and let us know what you think.
Looks awesome my friends well done
Have a great week see you soon be safe
Thank you!
I remember Limans. The owner was Liman Reagan. He passed away in 2017. My mamaws house is about 5 min from there. Very local place. Do you remember the Black Bear right around the road up there? So sad when it burnt
Yes, I do. I think it was owned by the same people who own the Sleepy Bear Motel where we stay. Is that correct? And I'm glad someone remembers the name of the restaurant from years ago. I remember my family having breakfast there several times.
Derrick I agree with you on the butter not only at breakfast but with any meal, especially one that includes bread or a baked potato…can’t stand cold butter with a hot baked potato!
Thank you.
I'm glad to see that this place served the kind of butter that was easily spread on toast. That's the way it should be.
I appreciate your comment.
We just checked out the map and can't believe we were only 10 minutes from this place when we visited Harrisburg covered bridge last March! Looks like we missed out on a delicious meal.
I think it's just under a 30-minute drive from this restaurant, to the covered bridge. Still, it's a nice little place to try when you're in the area. I think the bridge is out past Sevierville, if I'm not mistaken.
Derrick, you're so right about hard butter being served at restaurants. That's often because it's "real" butter. Often held on ice. Whipped butter can help. But, if at too cold a temperature it doesn't help much. Often what you see in restaurants is "table spread". Restaurants like it because not only is it more convenient for the customer, it's also cheaper on the restaurant. It's not butter. And, it is usually a "manufactured" product. Think of something Clark Griswold would've invented. It also has to meet an FDA standard of being spreadable at 70 degrees F. And, in most cases it's a good replacement for butter. This was an excellent review. Even though I'll likely avoid Gatlinburg. God Bless!
Him and his butter. lol but really it is better to have soft butter! Lol
Well, when I'm trying to eat toast or a biscuit, I'd rather not have to mutilate it with hard butter. Soft butter should be a given in a breakfast restaurant.
I will probably do breakfast for supper tonight, that’s the way I like it best.
We like to do that occasionally.
The mountains are absolutely gorgeous
The food looks delicious, but I hate the noise.
Yes, it was noisy. It was just a very small restaurant, with a lot of people in it.
Welcome to Gatlinburg...lol. 😂 It's loud Everywhere unfortunately here
We seem to travel up the same places 😂. We watched your Siesta Key vlogs for our trip last July. Now we’re watching for our upcoming Gatlinburg trip. So many pancake places 😂.
Those are both great places to visit, and places I've been going since I was a child, and my wife has been going since we have been married.
Yes, Gatlinburg is full of great breakfast places. Thank you so much for watching!
Do you have a breakfast preference in Cherokee?
Yes. Peter's Pancakes. We did a video there in November of last year
Will look it up..TY

We really liked LHOP too. I'm interested in the Sleepy Bear Motel.....do you have a review on it?
We have not done a review, and there's a reason. I will tell you about the motel, though. I have stayed there since I was a child, in the 1970s. My wife and I honeymooned there, and have stayed ever since. The lady in the office is really nice. It is a basic motel, with 2 beds, a mini-refrigerator, and a microwave. There are 2 wings to the motel, and we always get a creekside room. We always got room 111, until it had a maintenance issue, and we have not been able to get it for a couple of years. We now get room 107, until 111 is repaired. She said hopefully by our next visit.
It is almost 2 miles out of town, which we like. The only drawback is finding parking in town. You can ride the trolley, however.
The motel is nice, peaceful, and we have never had a cleanliness issue there.
What’s the name of that little hotel y’all stay in? I was thinking you had previously done a review on it but I’m not finding it now.
We are coming there next week with family and we are renting a cabin.
We have not done a review on it, but it is called the Sleepy Bear Motel. It is right across the street from this restaurant.
It is a basic 2 bed per room motel, with a refrigerator and a microwave. No extra frills, but we have never had a cleanliness issue in over 30 years of staying there.
I never eat there yet. 🤔
Menu look good breakfast 🥞 and lunch 🥪 too.
Yes, try it sometime.
Do you have any videos about traveling to Gatlinburg with a dog
We do it often. If you have a dog stroller, assuming it is a small dog, you will not have any problems in the stores. You will either need to find places that offer pet friendly outside seating, if you choose to take your dog when you eat out, though. Or, leave your dog crated in the room. But we almost always have our pets.
I totally agree with you on the butter
Thank you. It seems obvious to me, that people don't want to spread rock hard butter. Wish more places understood this, and glad this one does.
Whipped butter, priceless!!
Our favorite place for breakfast when we're in Gatlinburg 😋 And it's popular every day!
We stay right across the street from there.
That breakfast pork chop was so good, I wish they would include that on their lunch menu, either as a meal itself, or even as a sandwich.
I've never been there. It looked delicious! I'll definitely try it.
Yes, great place.
My late mom knew the owners and they're so incredibly nice and friendly..I need to go back now after watching this! Lol. Thanks guys ..Maybe I'll see you walking around Gatlinburg as I film tonight 🐻🍁🎃
We're not there this week. Unfortunately, we are back home. Hoping to get back soon.
