Okay, I stand corrected. In between this and The Sweeney, he starred in lots of other things like the movie Fright, cop show Special Branch and a tense episode of Thriller.
Or maybe he realises that with that posh accent he can make a quid or two from her... it is not always about the decent working class being a victim of the malevolent dominant class...
i just saw the whole film. really great movie.. and english women in the 1960s were much more attractive than they are these days. third wave feminism brainwashed them to be frumpy and dowdy because if they were attractive to men they were betraying the sisterhood.
Good to see Alfie Bass.....and a young Dennis Waterman. Great location scenes. Now long gone.
I have this one on DVD. Dennis Waterman gave a terrific performance as Peter. Couple of years later, he was in THE SWEENEY.
I have loved Dennis ever since I saw him say there's plenty of stuff in the back. Beautiful blue eyes, I just melt every time I see them
Dennis has been great in everything he's done.
