A'ja Wilson drops 37 and hits buzzer beater to win state championship

A'Ja Wilson, the No. 1 ranked player in the class of 2014, scores 37 points and drains a buzzer beating 3-pointer to force overtime. The 6-5 forward guided Heathwood Hall to the South Carolina Independent School Association 3A State Championship with a 66-58 overtime win over Northwood at the Sumter Civic Center in Sumter, South Carolina. Wilson added 14 points and 8 blocks in the winning effort as the Highlanders finish 23-4 on the season. Wilson is expected to announce her college decision in the next month, the finalists are Connecticut, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee.
