Hi @MSK, I have faced this exact issue with my duke 200 bs6. Service centre first replaced spark plug, cleaned throttle boddy and also they changed some sensor on the throttle body. But none of them solved the stalling issue. Finally after dropping mails to Ktm india and checking with service centre, they replaced my whole throttle body. This has finally solved the issue. My bike was under warranty and thus it did not cost me anything. Hope you see my comment and this really helps.
Faced the same issue on my 390 BS6, complained numerous times but they couldn’t figure it out, it was really dangerous during highway rides, thought gen 3 would be better but it’s disappointing to see the same problem.
I think the bike is stalling as you are on low speeds at higher gears which is the problem in the newer 390s... you have to be at right gear at right speed I guess...

Gadi stall hone ka issue gadi ke engine idle speed ki wajah se ho sakta hai. Previous generation Duke 390 ka idle speed 2000rpm ke paas tha. Aur abhi jo latest duke hai uska idle 1500rpm ke paas hai. Toh jub sudden throttle band karte hai toh rpm 1500 se bhi niche chala jaata hai. Ye wajah ho sakti hai bike stalling ki.

I just got one. I have faced 3 stalls in 200kms of riding but noticed once i filled 97octane fuel off a reputed pump the bike has not stalled even once..this may be due to bad fuel n dirt particles clogging up inside.
Bro change the spark plug to NGK iridium spark plug you won't be having this issue and try to fill 100 octane fuel in your bike will give you good performance and power with clean combustion
this is the reason why first lot bikes should not be purchased. It is better to wait for few months so that we can clearly understand the positive sides and issues or problems that arise in the bikes especially KTMs. So i would suggest everyone for deciding whether to buy or not after next lot models arrive or wait for few months before making final decision to buy the bike.
Msk bhai all the new generation ktm 390 ka engine has a very bad low torque, so maintain 4000-4500 rpm at every gear and while changing gear maintain a rpm of 5000. While cold start wait for the ECU to fully switch on then start your bike for cold start. Bike key on karte hi ek sound aayega ECU start hone ka and jab woh sound click karega tab start karna. I have an ADV 390 and faced these same problems in my bike,so when I changed my riding style the problems got solved. Specially KTM 390 engines need to be ridden on high RPM as it has a very low torque. These problems were faced after 2020 changes to the 390 engines. Bike bnd hone ka reason. Battery current ni ho skta kbhi bhi.petrol aur air combustion engine spark plug ke pass ache se ni hota tb hota lekin usse phle fuel injector ki cleaning bhi part hota.steps yi hai phle fuel injector then spark current and mixing of air and petrol thats it.

its not electrical, its important to notice KTM bikes are powerful so they are fragile as many others premium bikes. Thats why you need to put the best oil, the best gas on it, to make the engine and all of the machine last long. If you dont do it, it will die bit by bit. You will face some issues. One of it is the suddenly blackout. They will need to change parts until they find what part is damaged, but if you keep filling it with the wrong oil or gas, it will keep dying. Put the right oil, and the best quality of gas on it. Also, cause india is dusty, is better constantly clean your bike in and out cause dust also ruin the engine.
White Topping (cement road) is done because it lasts long than asphalt but main reason is not that. The reason is corruption. To lay an asphalt road of 1km it costs around 40-60L now but 1km of White topping costs 8 crores, so larger share of commission. I got the 8 crore quote from Bengaluru roads quotation itself. These white topping roads dont have much grip like asphalt roads and the politicians can again make money on these white topped roads by ridges contract (the grip ridges wear out very fast on these so a contract has to be floated again to create new ridges or roughness on these roads), so more commission to these politicians. If doubt please search the BBMP(Bengaluru Municipality) things on this.
Hi MSK it's a common issue in KTM. I have faced this issue for almost 2 years now it is solved. Don't go for high octane oil. And avoid any kind of Indian oil petrol. It will be solved.❤

MSK bhai just get your clutch switch checked same issue was there with my adventure post changing the cluth switch it worked fine. It has nothing to do with QS+
im guessing there might be some issue in the fuel that u might have filled from one of the fuel stations. there might be water in it that is why this issue is happening in your bike. because if there is water in the fuel then that will damage the fuel injector and that causes the stall issue in the bike . love your vlog ❤
MSK bhai yeh experience and fast response sirf tumhe hi mila hai and milega just because aap bade influencer ho. I have seen people going again and again to the service center and still their issue not getting resolved. Kuch service center wale to entertain bhi nahi karte. Old duke models were amazing both quality and performance wise.
I faced this issue with my 2019 390 adv . The service center had to check the bike 4-5 times . Till it eventually got fixed it’s still works with no issue as smooth as ever
I had faced a similar issue with my new duke 250. It was fixed with a sensor replacement (around the engine). I'm not sure but it was called some TPS sensor

Some of the batches do face stalling issues but you are below 50kmph in 6th gear..also it's a high compression engine with 398cc..

I think the stalling might be due to high gear at low soeeds. Try riding at lower gears at lower speeds.

I am a technical guy so i knew this but somehow ktm wouldnt rectify..just they check out battery..they doesnt understand that why its happening.
It's an ecu update issue same with RE was there in 2021 batch but they fixed it service center guys needs training to fix it

My Himalayan had similar issue, RE replaced the fuel fuse and issue sorted just like that.

@msk apka bike menjo problem ho Raha hai (ye cold start ke time pe bandh par Jana) ye problem abhi KTM ka signature ban chuka hai, main KTM 390 adventure use karta hoon mujhe har bar cold start ke waqt 4-5 attempts lagta hai, ye actually fuel pump ka issue hai, lekin KTM bol Raha hai ki ye fuel ka issue hai fuel ka quality ki karan Aisa hota hai but mujhe ye logical Nehi laga..lekin kar bhi kya sakte hai.. abhi jhelna parega iska solution hai ki change the fuel pump.. aap ekbar fuel pump check Kara lo kyun ki fuel pump change warranty ke under free of cost hota hai..lekin Mera bike Aisa chalte chalte bandh Nehi parta.. aap ekbar fuel pump check Kara lo bhai..

Bhai ye band hone ka problem sab mein hain and I know its really irritating…mera 2021 ktm adv 390 hain..same issue aap jo face kar rahe ho..same issue hain..and meze ki baat ye hain 20 baar service centre jaa chuki hain..ktm walon ko bhi nahi pata ye kyun ho raha hain..kuch bhi kar lo problem wapas aa jati hain…soch samajh ke lena ktm..

I took new ktm duke 390 gen 3 one month back and now 5 th time oil is getting leaked very bad exp I have with ktm I think I have wasted money in ktm so bad ktm duke is not good pls I advise dnt take this new bike

New ktm's require alot of gear change. So it might be stalling cause you are at a high gear at a low speee
