@@buddy6420 im good with people liking mfb, it becomes a problem when they completely dismiss the other gens as equally good and calls the bad for no reason I'm with the true mfb fans
@@rita-Shi-Mi Exactly this. I love Metal, it's my main/favourite Beyblade gen and the one I'm generally the most familiar with and attached to, but I can't stand it when Metal fanboys needlessly trash on other gens and act all superior about the Metal Saga
I watched the Burst anime as it was coming out, and while I liked the first 3, maybe 4 seasons I stopped after the end of GT because the episodes got shorter and started feeling really repetitive. My favorite part of season 1 is that Valt loses in the end! Imo it shouldn't have even been as close as it was, Valt's development was definitely rushed during the final arc. It seemed pretty clear to me that he was getting lucky in his matches against Zac/Xhaka so it was jarring to see him go from that to legitimately competing with Lui. It makes me wonder if the writers had to fight the studio about even allowing the protagonist to lose. You made the point about the low-stakes matches meaning anything can happen, and with Bursts more realistic verse I was so excited to finally have a low-stakes "high stakes" match where Valt losing didn't mean the end of the world, and I'm happy the writers saw the vision too. An issue that this series suffers from, to a much greater extent than the metal one imo, is that it is first and foremost an ad for the toys - like there were so many times where I felt like the plot had to stall in certain areas or be rushed in others to show off a new character and their new Beyblade.
Idk if its just me, Valt losing to Lui in the finals is actually really good writing. Sure, the crack in the stadium sucked, but it actually gave a representation for me (imo) of how close you can be and yet feel so far. Valt beat Shaka, Valt beat Zac, but it never meant he was truly ready for Lui. The last fight showed that they are on par of skill from their growth but Valt still has a hurder to walk.
@@TheLocalW possible spoilers but the beyblade burst scaling for anyone intrested okay so this is going to be a long explanation so essentially resonance is is when a blader and the bladersspirit / avatars at their Peak of conection this gives them the ability to manifest their Avatar into reality and it's so powerful enough it can manifest into reality for the entire battle or for as long as they want aiger for example was able to save his friend thanks to the power of him resonance with his avatar and there's also for a way to tell if a Beyblade is resonating it's when it glows or any of those special effects that you thought were special effects happen basically any important character would probably have this ability you can even speak with your avatar AKA your blade spirit you can also get possessed by your avatar the same way shu got possessed by his and you have many different types like hyperflex and there's four different types of hyperflux in the end of the of the GT series rainbow flux which is created by two or more blader Spirits or basically the power of friendship similarly to the way in the metal Saga Ginga was able to absorb people's power because of their connection The Clash was able to generate waves of power that can be seen through space then you have flare which by the way is the actual reason lui hair is on fire also there is dark resonace which bassically the dark power which caused if you remember caused Tsubasa to go crazy after being affected by it well something like that happened to aiger as he was cortupted by the dark resonace by phi so if you thought that was just him being like a jerk because thought it was just special effects that wasn't him being a jerk that was him being possessed / affected by essentially a Beyblade AIDS disease that causes you to be more aggressive and Way less fun to be around there's also the fact that beyblades in burst have confirmed to have elemental powers hidden within it can even generate actual freaking power so meaning that you know fire lightning water wind and all that that stuff is real they have they even did a test to make sure that this was actually the truth and not some sort of hoax or you can only see it in a certain Stadium so the people around them can't see the power Just like how they can't see the players resonating thing the only people that can see the avatars are the blades that owns the Avatar themselves although I believe that there are some people that could see it though in Bladers who have to do the lightning launch people who have elemental power of lightning could actually make it more powerful in other words at a bare minimum the Beyblade burst series would have lightning level speed because everybody who was at least relevant should be able to react to people who have the lightning power in their beyblades

Annoying Metal Saga fanboys acting all elitist and superior just because a gen works different with the gimmick. Yu-Gi-Oh does the same thing, something different for each series, and those fans USUALLY aren't as annoying as Beyblade fans. Top 3 battles are hard, i almost found every battles was packed really well on this season. but i definitely LOVE Lui VS Shu battle, it was really epic for me. I've always liked their dynamic as Rivals. Lui is seen like as a threat to Shu, i was already seated when they show their whole backstory from the last year tournament. And how Lui's actions has affected Shu as a person was just top notch for me (it's more in depth in Season 2.) The conclusion on his relation with Lui is satisfiying for me and i think that's where Shu truly shines as a character on this series. sorry for the whole yappin session, but seriously, i'm happy to see people talking the Burst series i don't see much people talk abt it so i was kinda bummed, but looking at this just makes my whole day. The Burst Series in terms of plot was GREAT in the first 3 seasons, but the next 3 (or 4 if you count the Hasbro one) is really just a filler, it's just more of like a side quest type of plot. It's not something i would reccomend people to watch but if you're bored then consider checking out. But there are some cool things that you don't wanna miss as well though! waiting for your other Burst series and Beyblade reviews in general! I've also been checking other gens as well, omw on watching G-Revo :]
Burst was at its peak from Seasons 1-2, and everything after failed to reach the standard set. As for my favorite battles, I would have to say it would be, in order, Deathscyther v. Yggdrasil, Valkyrie v. Xcalibur, and Valkyrie v. Longinus V2
My experience with Burst was like one whole episode of SpongeBob “Just One Bite”. I now like Beyblade Burst and I’ll go as far as to say that it’s on same level if not better than Metal Fight!
If i were to say some of my favorite battles in the burst saga i would go with valt v lui(i still rewatch that one), shu v lui(gets better when you know what happens in evolution), and honestly valt v shu from episode 10. I could name so many more i was the perfect age for beyblade when burst and evolution came out (like 10) so i just loved every second of it

I think the best part of Burst when compared to the Metal series is that it treats Beyblade as a sport or game, not as a f*cking impersonation of the zodiac and stuff like that It is still flashy as hell, and seeing people scream at toys hoping that they do something is still hilarious, but overall it's a lower stakes thing. Somebody finally made this kind of a video You deserve that like bro
I've reviewed the series for the past few months, so enjoy!
@@TheLocalW Already on ur God pt2 review Shi so magnificent 😭😭
Bro the mention of the goat yuma man of culture
The Yuma agenda reigns supreme!
The Burst Generation was him fr💯💯
Fav burst scraps:
1. Valt *Vs* Lui
2. Shu *Vs* Lui
3. Wakiya *Vs* Xander
Lui fights seem to be fan favs🔥
Burst was hated for some reason, never understood why, like I GET IT metal fight is cool and stuff but is it worth hating a gen just cause its different? I mean the burst aspect is what gave it an awesome gameplay. It was also the first gen to be actually some what realstic rather than goddamn weapon of destruction
Cap on the realistic part
Annoying Metal Saga fanboys acting all elitist and superior just because a gen works different with the gimmick. Yu-Gi-Oh does the same thing, something different for each series, and those fans USUALLY aren't as annoying as Beyblade fans. Metal was also hated by Plastic gen fans when it first came out in the same way, people saying Metal doesn't compare to OG, and now people are saying X doesn't compare to Burst. I'm noticing a pattern
@@darthhorizon1735realistic in aspects like angled launches, gimmicks being possible IRL, relatively more grounded. Unfortunately I don’t have super powers. I can’t just launch my Beyblade onto the ground or run up a mountain with it and it’ll follow me. My Big Bang Pegasus can’t mode change mid fight.
@@SephticMIspoilers
In burst they have elemtal powets in beys later on also have bey avatars and by end of their battle dante and gywen resonace was so strong it can be seen through space aiga can destroy boulders thanks to his bey power from resonace so i think its not as realistic as you're making it out to be the only thing that's realistic is the technicality of the way they use their techniques in their battles and how they work in real life which by the way Metal Fight had some of that too and the OG with L-Drago actually being a spin stealer in real life and the OG example a longer ripcord can actually make for more power
Look, i dont hate burst, i put mfb over it cuz of the seriousness and the characters (ryuga, kyoya and kenta) are better than what ive witnessed, then again ive seen only 2 seasons, i might just enjoy burst more than mfb, but NOBODY will replace my glorious childhood king ryuga

Hearing the names, i am GLAD i grew up with english dub bro. Daino??? Like dinosaur? Crazy🪑🪑🪑

Burst gets good at turbo but falls off heavy after that
Beyblade burst was my first beyblade anime the best imo ❤❤
The beyblade burst anime was an escape from the constant stress that came as a result of being undiagnosed autistic in middle school but after school when no one else was home I could sit and watch beyblade and yokai watch on Disney XD glade more people are talking about burst
@MadDogRyan It's awesome to hear that the show had a positive impact on you! I grew up with the Metal Fight Saga, so that was my anime after school.
Dang seems worth checking out, thx for the vid 😎👍✨️
I'd reccomend watching Burst in Japanese at least once (for anyone who's interested). The english dub (while good, for sure) has the classic change a few lines trope and even takes certain scenes out.
I've only been watching it in sub so far, so this is interesting to hear.
@@TheLocalW Again, the dub is pretty good. I just think it's a good idea for people to at the very least see it subbed.
Also, glad to see you enjoying Burst so far!
which is considered to be the better of the two?
sub or dub?
The scenes the dub removed isn't that big of a deal. It was mostly scenes that showed the bey's using different modes which the Hasbro bey's lacked so they removed it from the anime
Season 2 is gonna be PEAK when he covers it
Whole season 1 and season 2 of the Burst is built on character relationships like Valt and shu and shu and Lui. It's awesome
W series but lui got nerfed so hard in turbo and beyond he fr went from the final boss to the tutorial enemy😭
for me from all of plastic gen, all of metal fight and then first 3 seasons of burst were all amazing after that all the rest of burst and X lost the true goal of what beyblade was trying to do
9:26 if you look carefully you would realize valet would lose either way, the crack made him burst so a direct impact (all be it tired) luinor would burst him too
Beyblade burst is the anime that gives me nostalgia and even so many good memories, like I would watch the anime over and over and never get bored, it's funny, it's serious, it's about friendship it's the perfect beyblade anime I've ever seen. It's awesome bro! Keep watchin'
Nice video by the way.
Thanks! Beyblade Burst is awesome so far!
And how Lui's actions has affected Shu as a person was just top notch for me (it's more in depth in Season 2.) The conclusion on his relation with Lui is satisfiying for me and i think that's where Shu truly shines as a character on this series.
sorry for the whole yappin session, but seriously, i'm happy to see people talking the Burst series
i don't see much people talk abt it so i was kinda bummed, but looking at this just makes my whole day.
On first watch the ending of the battle destroyed me
I loved that they brought back tyson's jump launch from season 1 for valt
Burst was at its peak from Seasons 1-2, and everything after failed to reach the standard set. As for my favorite battles, I would have to say it would be, in order, Deathscyther v. Yggdrasil, Valkyrie v. Xcalibur, and Valkyrie v. Longinus V2
My experience with Burst was like one whole episode of SpongeBob “Just One Bite”. I now like Beyblade Burst and I’ll go as far as to say that it’s on same level if not better than Metal Fight!
Fun fact the reason why Valt and Shu were named that was because VS meant from the beginning these two were going to have an epic rivalry
Can't wait to see your review for Evolution
If i were to say some of my favorite battles in the burst saga i would go with valt v lui(i still rewatch that one), shu v lui(gets better when you know what happens in evolution), and honestly valt v shu from episode 10. I could name so many more i was the perfect age for beyblade when burst and evolution came out (like 10) so i just loved every second of it
ngl this is fire. I grew up on both burst and metal, both series had me screaming VOLTRIEK AND PEGASUS!!! unlike metal I stopped watched burst after burst turbo because my favorite character rantaro Kiyama got put to the side, man only got 2 win his whole career (underrated) also both series have a really good English cast
I have to disagree with the last statement, the English cast for both series were unbearable.
@@Darth_Malgus4627 it's probably because you watched the sub before the dub or because you're too old
@@djmaxgames Nope, i grew up with my own countrys dub, so i am biased to neither, i only saw the English one later and after that i saw the japanese version.
@@Darth_Malgus4627 I see, if you grew up on the English version you might've liked it, anyway what dub did you watch as a kid i watched French dub back in Africa before coming to the us and watching English dub cartoons later in the 2010s.
I think the best part of Burst when compared to the Metal series is that it treats Beyblade as a sport or game, not as a f*cking impersonation of the zodiac and stuff like that
It is still flashy as hell, and seeing people scream at toys hoping that they do something is still hilarious, but overall it's a lower stakes thing. Wich, by the way, is way more fitting
