There is some logic behind it. With 2 of them, the chances that at least one has more health than Boosfer is considerably higher than with just 1, so as long as the person with higher HP is constantly engaging him it's unlikely they will be put at a disadvantage (especially if Boosfer gets down to 1 heart, the chances that both of them will also be 1 heart are much lower than the chances of just one).

I actually really like this change. I had the idea of *"Minecraft Manhunt, but we all have hacked clients,"* which would probably play out the same way. The speedrunner would initially have an advantage until one of the hunters pressed right shift or whatever key brings up the interface. Then things would get really intense for the rest of the hunt.

personally I prefer the interesting twists rather than OP loot, I like when you are the only one that can do it cause the hunters always get so frustrated.

extremely unbalanced games aren’t fun to watch imo, it just gives the speedrunner an advantage rather than both teams, this video was fun to watch because of how randomized and how it can benefit and not benefit each team.
@@Apollo30 but it's unfair by design already. It's 2-4 people hunting 1 person. So giving the 1 person an advantage still only really evens the playing field because the other side can suicide whenever it benefits them. Idk vanilla manhunt isn't easy with multiple hunters and some edge can help.

One rule would have to exist tho: no wither or harming. This would be so the runner doesnt just instantly die. Just imagine kier is running towards boosfer when their effects randomize and he just goes flying into the air from levitation lol

X-ray is always enabled. Meaning you can only see ores, liquids, chests and portal frames.

(Idk how it would work, but something would need to be added to it to make it work. Maybe every block has a border)

Hey here's a cool glitch. Get those blue-green vines in the caves and get a bucket of lava. Go to nether and build a square, place the vine inside and then place lava and you'll get water, no joke. If you do this, you'll steal my heart 😍😍

I spent 2 hours and 12 minutes editing this comment while constantly pausing the video oh but i am not done yet with editing this comment.
*at 18:16 it shows 18 hearts but it could have been 17.5 so i am not 100% on this one
**at 29:03 it shows he has 11.5 hearts but he doesn't have the hunger to regen so it could have been 12 and we didnt see it.
*** at 30:22 it shows him having 31.5 hearts but then he takes damage and the 32nd heart slot tgat was holding the 0.5 disappears which shows that he had only 31 hearts which makes no sense i believe the 32nd heart bar was a tiny visual glitch so i put it as 31
Anyways here are some statistics: (This math is going to take forever btw):
The total amount of hearts boosfer gained in total (added all those values): 3,817 hearts
185 times in this video his hearts changed
The average amount of hearts gained per change is 20.5 which because the range is 0.5 to 40 makes sense as the average
The mode (most common heart amount) was:
Imagine Boosfer throwing a pearl and then a second later changes to half a heart...
3rd time asking, Minecraft Manhunt but the hunters can't smelt, this would be insanely funny to watch I can just imagine Kier and Yello screaming and maybe even Dev rage quitting. You are my favorite content creator and keep putting great content like this out there. :)

I like this sort of twist a lot better than the ones where Boosfer gets some OP advantage and everyone else has to figure out what it is. Chaotic, exciting, tense and hilarious.

Please don't do anymore OP loot twists unless it's subverting the formula in a clever way.
I prefer twists which change the rules of the game and make for unique gameplay which you wouldn't otherwise see in a manhunt, but don't rob the video of any tension like an OP loot video would (and without tension the triumphant moments feel shallow). I think this was a very good twist, some more twists related to health are:
-minecraft manhunt but each time I kill a hunter my health drops. You start with 15 hearts, and each time you kill a hunter directly you lose 1 heart of max health. This causes the video to gradually become more and more tense when you slowly get lower and lower, while also making some unique gameplay of trying to trap or avoid the hunters more.
- minecraft manhunt but there's no natural regeneration (which will lead to you being on low health for a significant amount of the video. it doesn't offer so much to unique gameplay, the only thing I can think of is that bows are much more effective, but it still sounds interesting)
- This last one I don't have a catchy name for, but basically, you start with 20 hearts, and your max health slowly decreases through time (maybe every 12 minutes you lose a heart, so you have 4 hours before your health drops to zero). Very similar to the first one, but it does have a unique property to it.
