Nope, production seems better with this version but the original absolutely rocks live and Johnny was a master. I still rock out to this version, but I always wind up back to the old lineup.
I think the only one that was difficult to replace was Johnny Cruz and Broddy is finally a good replacement, and i like that he has a Zakk Wylde style that will sweet the new songs very well, the drummer Taz and the bassist were very average so i think you will not have any problem replacing the bassist.

This one is definitely with professionals, The band before this was absolute trash. But still the original lineup will always be the best one.
