I love the raw metal look, unfortunately this truck didn’t start out as the right truck for that. To much body work. But we will definitely be doing one

Damn, I wanted to see the finished product and how it runs and sounds! I love the Chevy C10s, so that project car would be my dream car. Being able to use a Tesla bottom, it's a complete game changer for ALL car customs shops! It is like a rebirth of all classics that you may have had trouble finding parts for, can now float it on a Tesla power plant. Love it!!

Just came across this video. You are making my dream truck. Same model, same concept, same everything. I've been thinking about this for years. Can't wait to see the finished product, this is sick. If I wasn't a broke bum, I would have had someone make me this exact vehicle already.
You all probably thought of this, but make sure the cooling system pressure isn't too high. I believe the tesla battery pack cannot exceed 5 psi. Also consider shielding the battery pack cooling system fittings, if they break they are very hard to fix.
Awesome build. This thing should fly with a set of wings. When I was a kid a long time ago growing up in Oceanside Calif, I hung out at the local slot racing center. The owners had a couple of road race-style tracks and a 55-foot dragstrip. The top electric drag cars [purpose-built dragsters] could cover the 55-foot distance in 1 to 1.5 seconds This was 1964. LOL, that's about as quick as a nitro top fuel car to 60 feet. I remember thinking, it's too bad ICE-powered vehicles can't accelerate like this. But hey, It took a while, but the revolution in electric-powered vehicles and aircraft has begun. Can't wait to see it perform. I would love to see some real-time performance numbers.Thanks

Such a great build, good call fitting the entire Tesla battery case. I'm sitting here looking at 6 of the cell packs from inside one. I have to package them into a Porsche 356 Speedster. I wish I could share a picture of this thing. It's hand painted to replicate the Janis Joplin car.
Just found you guys (RUclips algorithms do it again!)- Thumbs up and subbed! I LOVE this build- really, really well thought out. The Tesla motor takes more cooling then I would have thought (and the batteries too of course)- the only thing I don't love (but it's still cool) is the radiator placement- too bad all that wasn't up front so the truck bed could still be a truck bed. But it's a hot-rod so I get it. Terrific build- now that I've found you I have to go back and watch your other vids!
We have a full sized radiator up front too! This build isn't going to see too much daily driving, so we weren't worried too much about bed space! Thanks for the love and support. We really appreciate it here!
Dang.. Got excited for a minute that you remade the flares to match the body lines.. Then realized you didn't install them yet.. Will be interesting to see how they look once installed..
Watch out for the RPM act in regards to those blue tooth modules that lets you change stuff or whatever, they hit Brent from PFI Speed. even though this is electric i just thought to mention it.
My favourite thing about this whole build is Don's change in attitude from Ep 1 through to these most recent ones. To think he wanted to throw an LS in it! 💤
