I totally stand with nadia to confront the actors as well as with the writers/directors for the major mishaps that happened in these two episodes.
When I saw the spit and slap I was like what are they showing us and if it’s the truth I was like a man like Murtasim would simply end the relationship after this. Even Men have self respect. How can someone stay in a relationship after this insult.

Seems you didn’t saw the drama entirely. Go and watch Meerab first agreed for proposal in some vague revenge mode and Murtasim was shocked to listen that she agreed and even confirmed with her. Totally agree with nadia. These 2 episodes were really a blotch in the face of pakistani dramas and spoiling the image of muslim wives. Nadia is saying everything correctly actors should have refused these scenes. And they should apologize.

First writer triying to show marital rape but after public reaction she she change the whole story and she cannot hold it properly and made this garbage.

I'm totally confused, why there is no debate on Haya's behaviour ? Attitude of a wife who suspects her husband with another female is quite natural.lots of debate and criticism is going on regarding husband and wife's privacy matter. Slapping a husband then spitting on his face and adding fuel by challenging the manhood of a husband is something which is very odd and is against our social , cultural and religious values. Where as Murtism was apologizing and was try to explain that what Merub was thinking is not true. It happened in a misunderstanding. Murtism thought it was Merub hugging him and called him in the bedroom..
Audience are hurt and traumatized by that scene. It’s against our religious and cultural norms..
So Audience are surprised how could Wahaj agree to do this scene. He is aware of society expectations. He is a married man having a wife, mother and daughter.

First time I totally agree on your review. It was so illogical for meerab to react like that and again writer intended to show rape as a reaction is so illogical, meerab and murtasim are not such characters. slap and spit on husband shall be shown only in case the husband is cheater and fraud. When writer knows that murtasim is right and loves her a lot then why to show such reaction from wife just for trp and hype. So sick. I’m so happy that at least they removed marital rape as it doesn’t suit murtasim character so illogical. Writer is either stupid or just wants to create hype.

I just imagine drama ended when they both met at Mariam’s wedding on a happy note. No doubt drama was entertaining until that point even with overall flaws in storyline and even direction in most of scenes was good until that point. That’s the reason its a huge blockbuster. They just stretched and anyway nothing much was left in drama post that. It was a mistake from the makers and they anyway realised but nothing much was possible to change and anyway people learn from mistakes.

Yes people learn from their mistakes, but I don't think the writer learnt anything, in her every interview she was justifying whatever she wrote and I doubt that she would have learnt anything...rather what she learnt is, bad publicity hi sahi, publicity toh hui and now I am dreading about what they are gonna do to season 2! I honestly have no excitement except for seeing yumhaj together again!

About publicity the drama was already block buster and popular before this episode, it’s not like it became popular because of this. She is just not admitting that it was mistake, internally she would have realised. But there is no news yet on season 2. It seems we have to still wait a lot.
I think wahaj had done more mistake for doing that scene. He is playing murtasim's character and he knew that murtasim is not toxic so how could he rape his beloved wife. Wahaj would not agreed to do that scene so the director alos would not added the slap and spitting scene

Why is nobody mentioning murtasim slapped meerab in the starting episodes... The spit was so off agreed but the slap was their norm and shouldnt be discussed. Plus I think I heard from bushra ansari's interview suth fuschia that the actress playing haya was supposed to show she was in murtazim's bed but she said she comes from a good family she can never xo this scene etc so i guess that's why they changed it to a hug from back... Which gave no grounds for such harsh reactions from meerab

I have tried to make the sense but couldn't do that.

I guess it's high time that we stop portraying one sided lover's as villains in every pak drama instead we should throw a positive light on such characters to encourage the youth of today . One sided love is the feeling which most of the people go through in their life and are going through so rather than giving it a negative zone they should give a positive one by showing that if you put yourself in a situation where you don't get what you desire for and you don't get the same in return then that is the test in which you have to Succeed of course its shattering and heart breaking but if you keep your calm and patience and will have immense faith in your Creator then he will definitely raise your status and will definitely provide you with something way better and will open doors for you even in the darkest rooms . And one sided lover's should get a happy ending too by getting someone way better then what they wanted or desired for . In that way you are truly gonna encourage each and every person who goes through this self hurt feeling ✨️ 😌

I noticed how many times Maria went speechless. She was not finding the words to explain how they inserted vulgarity in a sacred halal relationship of a husband and a wife. I really admire everyone esp. Maria who is a very modern women yet very conservative in core values and expressing her views. Which shows her deep rooted foundation and decency. She was trying to be open but she wasn't able to speak boldly about those vulgar scenes.
Actually in my opinion this drama is for Indian Audiences. The rating they are getting is from mostly Indian. It has bold scenes and unislamic, non Pakistani cultural misrepresentation of ideas and values. Each episode has five scenes. Slowmo and exaggerated non sense. Spit and Slap to a husband is BIG NO in any case. Yumna why did you that? One hand you are going out with your male friend and on the other hand you are slapping and spiting on a husband who always stoodup for you. They had to take a break and had to reshoot new scenes. Viewers deserved it as drama has so much viewers. They had got a lot from drama. They could have spent to save it. But they didn’t.

What is she showing the viewers? These 2 frustrated husband and wife couldnt have found another day and time? How sic

Noora mukhdoom is a ridiculous writer she is senseless person playing with emotions of millions of people...i agree that yumna and wahaj should have refused for these scenes..it is there responsibilty to maintain their image which they have built with their previous serials and also with terebin..There is only a matter of ratings and views . Noora has brought the serial to vulgarity and shame. Any script of a writer is a represention of her thinking and what message a writer wants to give.If they want to show meerab a strong character than it must be written in a way that when she saw both of them together she must have slept haya and left from there with eyes full of tears without saying a word to murtasim than there would be a hook for people ...then meerab would be considered right ...then murtasim would have realized that she has started loving her and then there would have happy ending after a conversation between them in next episodes...when they both have cleared all things ....when they have completly clear all the misunderstandings...

Writer made meerub slap and spitting on Murtasim so she can justify marital rape. Unfortunately due to bashing they have to change the story and again meerub became villian. May be the background from writer belongs it's common to slap or rape someone but we audience can't take this bullshit. With this senseless storyline they saved Murtasim but not the show.
Sexual relationship is basic and common thing after marriage it's a base of marriage but before this meerab's reaction of slap and split at her husband it's very bad and hurting we are all disappointed
