Being from Canada I did enjoy this video, it kinda sums it up very well. Canada is just like that, a place that everyone views as a good all around… for the most part. If it’s too good at the moment just wait a few years and the rule makers change.
Being a cosmopolitan, I just realized that I don't know the name of Canada's capital. By some reason I thought it was Vancouver, but I googled that to be 100% sure. Such a shame ))))

Sam, I live in Alabama, but one interesting thing about Canada , they made many engines for golden era American cars, most of the better ones in muscle cars. Shania Twain was a from Canada. Instead of Philips head screws, they use square Roger’s head screws and bolts.
Its great here in Canada! The only issues I would say is with the Government, our politicians, our culture, our food and our southern neighbour.... And our economy. The average phone bill is $120 a month, Gas in Vancouver, the only major city on the west coast, is above $2 a liter, not a gallon, a liter. Rent for a 1 bedroom apartment will cost you on average $1600 in the city of 100,000 that I live in. Car insurance will cost maybe $150 a month, a bus ride is $2 and our public transit system is utter nonsense, the only thing you can relay on is that you cannot relay on it. An individual will spend $300 on average on food alone. The average wage is between $1800-$2200, if you spend $1600 on rent and $300 on food and $120 on your phone, you have about $100 to pay all your other bills. Our politicians are corrupt, our economy is trash. We are obsessed with 'progressive' ideas. Like legalizing drugs, and assisted euthanasia, you would not want to bring up kids through our Education system, it will make you cry. they will learn all 3000 genders before multiplication. Come Visit, i'll buy you a beer!

Canadians are very polite and nice people but life here is very difficult like probably everywhere in the world. Real estate here in Canada is crazy high in a big cities. Youth cannot afford to buy home.
Hi Sam. Great video. As you. Already know that I am from Canada. The only big issue we have in Canada. Is the prices of things. Gas. Food. Since covid has went sky high. Other then that we are very simular to Russia... sports weather.
No where in the comments I have read so far about Canada. It has Niagara falls, plenty of US TV dramas and Hollywood movies are shot there like the The X Files and the Marvel universe films. The country produce's the 🇨🇦 Molson's beer and they are gun lover's.
Great video lol. Living in Canada has changed for the worse. Current government is an embarrassment. Now deep debt that will take years to pay off...we pay more on interest charges than on health care. Sinking ship lots of hard times coming for Canada.
😮😅 people are so nice here because they don't have an interest in general politics and for the most part don't care for what's happening outside their bubble. Our media has no character
Don't feel bad, I don't know much more and I'm not too far away. I hear it's more peaceful than america with more freedom though a lot colder. For all I know it could be the opposite though it did get colder the further north I went. Personally I met some decent people briefly who were said to be from Canada through basketball sports camp and a soccer tournament also summer migration down California coast, and I ate Canadian bacon on pizza. Interesting immigrants in Quebec maybe like France from French speaking locations possibly connected with Africa, New Orleans, Haiti and other Islands near equator.
Great video SAM.. We do have beautiful scenery in our provincial and federal parks We don't make a scene on the world stage except when our politicians are saluting a Nazi in the House Of Commons or the PM is getting drunk and singing Bohemian Rhapsody at the Queen of England's funeral. on a side note having the present day government taxing the crap out of us and then adding on the carbon tax on top of the taxes. If your young you can Forget about owning a home and just being able to by groceries is a luxury. As far as health care we pay for it through our taxes yes you don't have to lose your home to go see the doctor but the wait list to see a specialist could take over two years. We don't have enough family doctors to go around so if you get sick its off to the walk in clinic or Emergency where you can expect to wait from 8 t0 12 hours if not more. or die on a stretcher in the hallway which has happened in one province. it will be interesting to see what happens when election time comes around in Oct 2025 or hopefully sooner with a non confidence vote but that's not likely.
Russians should know that Canada is a country with a lot of immigrants. Canada is a country that values freedom and respects many countries, including those that are left leaning politically. Canada is a great country with high taxes overall.. I much prefer it to the U.S., where I live at the moment. Probably would have been the perfect country for me from my birth, but I was stuck in the Netherlands and the U.S..... I'm leaving for my final years to South Africa in 18 months.. My final couple of decades on this earth are nearing... I have no complaints..

Being from Canada I did enjoy this video, it kinda sums it up very well. Canada is just like that, a place that everyone views as a good all around… for the most part. If it’s too good at the moment just wait a few years and the rule makers change.
Thanks for sharing!
Canada is also a part of the Commonwealth and they are rich in unconventional hydrocarbon reserves.

Being a cosmopolitan, I just realized that I don't know the name of Canada's capital. By some reason I thought it was Vancouver, but I googled that to be 100% sure. Such a shame ))))

It true though. Canadian immigration always was tiny
It only got boosted in the late 1990s when europe&usa began to restrict immigrant visa and make it tough to get in legaly cause they had too much migrants

Sam, I live in Alabama, but one interesting thing about Canada , they made many engines for golden era American cars, most of the better ones in muscle cars. Shania Twain was a from Canada. Instead of Philips head screws, they use square Roger’s head screws and bolts.
Oh! Interesting. Thanks for sharing.

Nice Video Sam, What's the name of the town you were interviewing people?

I was in the Canadian Maritimes last summer. Very beautiful place, unbelievably nice weather, and kind people, but a couple things I witnessed were quite interesting. I've never seen so many tattoos on women, and I am an American, and the outward expression of inclusion was palpable, not just a polarized news debate. To each their own with their bodies, and various governments -- liberal democracies, illiberal democracies, secular authoritarian and theocratic authoritarian -- do what they do. Just know where you are visiting or living, respect the local culture(s), respect the local and national laws, and leave the place better than you found it.
