    Looks good. I like the casual conversation tone in this video. Nothing over stated or dramatized. Just bought a Kamado Joe classic 3 and can't wait to use it.

      Thanks so much! Great purchase, you are going to get so addicted to cooking on it! Best thing we ever bought!

    dig your vid. do you have a rough estimate on the time it took, i saw your reply earlier about internal temp, which i'm down with. rough estimate would be great with your kamado at 350?

    Up to temp before adding heat deflectors? They can take that ok? Only had my KJ a few days and so far I've been adding heat deflectors early to allow the heat up to be gradual but not sure if it's necessary

    Great video! Super easy to follow. Do you soak the mesquite wood chips before use?

      Never soak your wood chips first.

      Thank you, I do not, when I first started cooking and bought those small bags of tiny chips I did as the bag instructed and did that, but have since moved on from those days :)

    what were the times you keft them on the grill and flipped\

    • @CanCraneDoIt
      @CanCraneDoIt  2 года назад

      It’s really the internal temperature you want to watch out for, since it’s smoking you could not flip at all really but to get some of the grill marks on both side I’d say flip when it’s about 120 degrees about halfway towards target temperature

    What is that app and the model of this witless thermometer

    • @CanCraneDoIt
      @CanCraneDoIt  3 года назад +1

      It is the Weber iGrill and the app that goes along with it. It’s not bad but I am saving up for a Meater would be nice to not have to worry about the wires coming out of the grill!

      If you cook your chicken to the proper temp, you shouldn't have to.
