The Lord knows when to send us words and even songs of encouragement. I just asked Alexa to play Don Moen and it did it randomly but when this song played it captivated me that I had to stop grab my coffee and sit on the couch. Googled it and found it here! It's a tough week as 2 members of our church in a week span got diagnosed with cancer. Then a friend I met at a park in 2021 became a good friend and is now in the process of divorce! No matter what life throws at us, one thing remains… it's God’s faithfulness! Never give up my friend, the Lord is near and He loves you!

Stumbled on the original version of this song somewhere in 2010 during a time when I wondered what tomorrow held.

So many emotions and thoughts run through my mind as I listen to this. There is so much about tomorrow, or the next week, month or year, that I don't know about. Yet our relationship with Jesus is based on His faithfulness. Not our faithfulness, but His.
And then we come to the verse about not knowing when we will die. I can't help but think of dad. His time came like a thief, but by God's grace he still was able to speak to each one of us and say his goodbye. I miss dad so much, yet I see God's grace in his absence today.

Beautiful calming song
Brian used to be my favorite. Saw him live in Lancaster many years ago with my daughter. I fell away and bedridden with depression/mental illness, yet God is faithful.

One thing anyone can do is start there day with a positive. Mindset and stay focused on whatever task you have that dsy and keep your mind clear of ant negative thiughts and theree. Is allways some way a person going through something can use that to help others in.a positive way amen 💯

Thanks for letting me know the song spoke for you . . . that's the goal we aim for as songwriters - not so much to speak 'to' a listener but to speak 'for'. This song was written around the birth of our youngest son who was born with Fragile X Syndrome (and is now 23 years old!)

Was this video taken in the Highlands of Scotland? I used to live there, and the song with it's beautiful music, just took me back. And it's funny because I first heard your song 'Faithful one' being sung by a lovely lady up in Lairg, the lovely Ian White was also singing. I fell in love with the song 'Faithful One' it helped me through a very difficult time, and only today after listening to it again, did I find out that you are the author.
