I watched the show then reflected on my own opinion before reading the notes (which I love!) My impression was "liberty" so when I read "joy" in the notes I felt kindred in the restrained sense of joy intended in the garments. I also took notes from the staging and the plumes of colored smoke jetting up into the sky. Joy restrained is the secret engine powering hope. Mr. Owens remains at the helm of our journey into the unknown while absorbing the present moment and restoring us through his vision of the future. BTW- Anxiously wanting to know more about the make up if anyone knows where I can go to get some details. I hope to see the shoes available soon.

He works on a basis of slowly molding and evolving old looks throughout the course of his seasons. Very rarely does he ever create a design that is wholly new and expecting that of him is a little ignorant to his creative process.

@@user-xe3nw9tw7f Cuts, silhouettes, proportions, textures, shades, storytelling, layering, etc. If colors is the main part your focusing on, I suggest you to develop your personal appreciation beside “what colors look better” in fashion
If it can help, you could see it as photography. Where black & white is often used to emphasize something more important than colors, and not be distracted by it :)

Not as interesting as some of his previous collections, I feel like with the "splint" style sandals he might be going for a meme boot look similar to those awful red boots. Still one if the best designers but this collection was kinda bleh.
