Compliment: their choreo is second to none, with every beat hitting so hard and precise that they could cut diamonds with it.
Critique: the choreo is very detailed, and every minute movement could not be seen by the live audience. Obviously it was a great performance, but I just kept thinking about the crowd and how they couldn’t see and appreciate what us subscribers are witnessing.
if I were the kinjaz , I would also prefer this type of choreo that is suited for youtube. Not all of the audience appreciate this kind of act, but their viewers in YT surely appreciate this a lot. well, that's just me lol
mark I agree, but this sort of performance that’s meant for RUclips can be done in a studio for RUclips. If you’re at a live audience that’s primarily sports fans and not the dance community, maybe do something that the audience can appreciate, otherwise they’ll just sit there awkwardly like “why are we here watching this lol.”
@@PropelledGamersz to be fair, even the jabawockeez NBA routine can't be easily appreciated when you watched it live. It just happened that we have watched all of this because of their own cameramen. I mean even if you watched this on screen, the NBA camera work is trash lol

@@b-townmedia4151 Jabba are legendary. But Kinjaz are definitely no knock offs and equally amazing in my opinion. I've followed both crews from the start. Also, two former Jabba members are part of Kinjaz now so you would notice similarities at times.
On point as always! But for a performance at an arena, they needed more. The routine was perfect for a youtube video. Idk, maybe I was expecting more after seeing the Jabbawockeez's performances.

Yeah, a lot of the intricacy and subtlety to their newer choreography gets lost when it's viewed in big arenas from a single angle. A lot of their modern material is very cinematic and studio-oriented nowadays, and sadly it doesn't always translate. Like, I'm watching this now and it looks absolutely sick. But I've seen them at basketball games, and as much as I want to actually see them directly, I always find my eyes drifting back up to the jumbotron.

I mean, there's a few former Jabbawockeez members in Kinjaz. Kinjaz is basically a combination of all top dancrews. Jabbawockeez, Kabba Modern, poriotix, choreocookies, mos wanted, etc. It's insane.
Every time I watch this, I find something new. Like, I totally didn't initially see Tony Tran's Michael Jackson tribute, Pat Cruz KILLIN EVERYTHING, and how HARD they actually did go on the Lil Jon song. I was too busy just tryna identify them. I truly love this performance more and more every time I see it!

I absolutely LOVE how the Kinjas move. It's like they mainly move to the undertone of the music and not the beats that people pay attention to. They MAKE you pay more attention to everything that went into the song.
But it's HILARIOUS, since I know this is what they do, I'm surprised but not surprised. Jesus, they confuse me but I love it.

Unpopular opinion: I preferred Jabbawockeez choreo from a couple years back compared to Kinjaz this year. Don’t get me wrong, this choreo is incredible, but there’s something about this choreo that just wasn’t the Kinjaz’s best.
K we all need to acknowledge this choreo. Starting at 3:55 the main dude does a bit with EVERY SINGLE line. That's fucking INSANE.

Kinjaz has a sharp, detailed, faster routines and some small movements, and due to these can be easily overlooked in a big arena like these, what you can only see are just throwing hands, hips and feet from afar. They need to adjust their choreo to be more apprioriate in these type of big arena. Jabbawockeez have bigger movements, slower routine and transitions, that's why they have more advantage and appreciated in this type of bigger stage.
Style and moves way to similar to Jabbawockeez. Sorry I had to put that out there agree or disagree I don't care.
They have a few of the original jabbawockeez members, so there's that.

kinjaz is very strong, it's true, but we must recognize that in everything kinjaz does today, Jabbawockeez was the precursor. before we were content to dance to music, it was Jabbawockeez who interpreted and mimed music for the first time, opening the minds of a new generation of dancers… Comedies in full choreography it is Jabbawockeez who including all that… I find kinjaz more disciplined in their freestyles and choreography, but at some point you feel that something is missing. Jabbawockeez has a spirit that makes a difference and every time they release a video they include a new trend… 2 former members of Jabbawockeez have formed kinjaz, no wonder they seem to look like them… Jabbawockeez is and remains the precursor dominating still until now despite the multitude of tendencies they do not die. they always thrill the old and the new generation of dancers with the new members who knew how to drown in this same spirit, no wonder they remain at the top
Just a critique I feel it was not the kinjaz best choreo just for the simple fact of being to slow, love you guys but pick it up a little with the choreo and dont wait on 8 counts use them
Liked it. It just needed more dancing and less moving around.
You have to have tempo and texture when dancing. Going full-speed through a choreo doesn't provide opportunities for big moves to have an impact on the audience. Plus, it takes a lot of skill to change movement speeds while performing intricate movements.
