BBC is hell-bent on dividing Indians and creating an environment of mistrust against the industrialists. The real issue and situation has not been shown here or only briefly touched by the BBC. The local truck operators have formed a union and dictate prices to the cement plant and do not let any outside truck operators to work here who are ready to work at Rs 6/- rate. The goondagardi of the local truck operators has been hidden here. They had earlier threatened the plant management several times to comply with the rates fixed by truck union otherwise they would not transport for the plant nor would they allow anyone else to operate here. This goondaism is not correct. The rates that the cement plant wants to pay has been decided by the Himachal Pradesh government itself. But HP government has not done anything in this regard. No industry can work taking losses. Those of you who do not know are saying why has Adani bought this plant when it was incurring losses. The answer is that Adani has bought the whole cement business of ACC and Ambuja Cement which has got dozens of plant. It has right to close those plants which are mired in union politics and thus running into losses. No body is bound to bleed money from its pockets. The HP government should buy these two plants from Adani and run themselves. The officer who was interviewed by BBC was very cleverly shifting all the burden on Adani Co and also linking the move to close cement plants with arrival of the new government. He was trying to wash hands off this situation because the government has come to power now and the elections are 5 years into the future in December 2027.

This the difference between a business man and an industrialist.. Adani, Ambani are Business man who are always seeking for profit. But there is only one industrialist who is promoting the public welfare is Tata. # the most trusted and oldest brand of India..
Business is always done for profit. Profit word has long been made a villain. If I go out to run a business then I or anyone will look for profits else why I shud run a business. It's just a Math. However the Congress state government cud have resolved it, but their prince has already made Adani a villain.

It's not all about BJP it's company owner decision if they couldn't make profit from plant so they have right what they want and it's also responsibility of union take example of cotton Mill of mumbai .in Mumbai Before union not formed everything is ok but in 90s so many union go on strike and there is no cotton Mill in Mumbai now.
@@Crauniverse what you expect ? That a worker should work 10-12 hour to get bread and cotton mill worker live like king it's example of MD , the alternative to this should be giving the plant to rival company and instead of 6 as lower limit the transportation in hilly area to be increased up to mark of 8.50 because giving up to adani will once again start the rule of company in India.

Government should think in future that land sale on Lease only & not on Outrate. So title of land possession itself with owner. This is big Solution for all.
Solution is punish those who does dirty politics due to which business suffers . 450 rs bag in Rajasthan is right but 370 is not for congress. Either increase 5 rs or decrease 5 rs of state tax
@@mayankthegod no can't be bcz no company will lease a land less than 100 years and even after lease expires it becomes government land. Ultimate proprietor of all land is either state government or central government or certain temples or religious institutions.

@@FaithStudyandPractice Here, we should avoid focussing on which channel it is, and who was been interviewed. We should focus on facts. It's a fact that land acquisition was done, all needy didn't get employment, company incurred losses blaming high transportation rates and strong union of transporters, unfortunately the local people are heavily dependent on these plants. Now, what? This is the point where the Govt.'s role comes into picture with logical end being providing of employment to those who lost. It hardly matters whether it is achieved thru Adani re-starting the plants with or without transporters giving in, or Govt compensating Adani for losses, or Govt. buying/acquiring these plants and operating. Whatever may be the formula, common people must be taken care of in such situations where they have suddenly lost their means of survival. What we need to think is as simple as this: 'Whatever is happening to one today, could very well happen to others tomorrow'. Corporate Monopolies are primarily profit-driven and that fails to gel well with everyday concerns of people like those affected in this case. If basic interests of common citizens can't be protected, a nation will fail to make desired progress irrespective of the potential that it may have. In a country like India, Govt. has a very crucial role to play in welfare of the people.

@@bharatgaurav9528 I respect your p.o.v but for attaining any profit the central idea must be promoting the public welfare and when the decisions of profit maximisation impacts huge no. of individuals in negative manner then the decisions must be critically reviewed again. Those of you who do not know are saying why has Adani bought this plant when it was incurring losses. The answer is that Adani has bought the whole cement business of ACC and Ambuja Cement which has got dozens of plant. The HP government should buy these two plants from Adani and run themselves.

All credit goes to Rahul ji for Adani mukt Himachal Pradesh . 🙏🙏🙏

525 INR, per bag in H. P , as compared to another states, that's not fair. Prices must be reduced becuz they are using our land and materials
truck union ki dadagiri hai har cement plant ka yehi haal hai union apne muh maangi kimat leta hai aur agar ek baar pata chal jaye ki union se cement maal lene wali gaadi bhar se lele toh ussey blacklist kardete hai ussy dobara maal nahi dete
Aisi hi ' dadagiri ' , uniongiri , backed by communists , congressis , 4-5 decadss back , Mumbai was ruined & Bengal can never ever come up.
Good that in mumbai , maharastra better sense prevailed & blackmailers were pushed to edge 👍

Truck unions should understand that they can not force the factory to charge abnormally. In many places in india these unions used to do the arms twisting . No one will run the factory in loss. This has to be understood. Why Holcim sold Ambuja and ACC?May be some units are incurring losses and its management was not able to take action.one can’t blame Adani to take such steps. It is the duty of locals to create conducive atmosphere to the industry.
Yes that’s true.

@@Skyon-151 - truckers can take trucks to plain areas and earn from there. Why only they wish to work for cement plant. They can transport in Punjab Haryana UP any place.
You r right.
Because BJP lost Himachal elections that is why Adaani did his job for BJP.
