@@dodee312 very true, when you have so much love for what you do, it doesn't matter what you play or how often, it is pure enjoyment from start to finish
Yeah definitely, I play the guitar and I strive to reach this level of mastery. Adapting easily to the beat and vocals takes years of experience/practice and I wish I'll be on that level soon ☺️.
Not to discredit him as I’m sure he knows his stuff well as a drummer, but he was just playing some borrowed common patterns, which tbh didn’t fit the song like 90% of the time. His rudiments are good, but i wouldn’t go as far as calling him a “true musician” which entails being able to improvise what’s best and fitting for the given context on the spot.
I love how he plays into the marching drum kinda beat at 1:20 and also just all of 2:23 I’ve watched a ton of his hololive song covers but this one is probably my fave because it’s a slower song so he styles on it a lot, also the drums just sound really good with the instrumental. I think he just knocked it out of the park with this one
The Marching passage at 1:20 is my favourite part of the cover by far. It just nailed the train SFX so elegantly. To think he does all these blind is insane.
what's more impressive is that he played this blindly , not knowing the beat yet he played it near flawlessly . imagine if he already heard of it before
You can hear he is a rock drummer. His best was slightly different from Violet when he come in the chorus. Yet, he is a so great professional that he can make it sound great.
I've been watching Jerod's streams for so long and it still amazes me how perfectly he understands the transitions in songs when covering them blind. 0:46 0:54 1:17 1:47 2:40 3:05
"I've never heard this before"
-the 8 bit drummer on literally every song he covers
and even more impressed that he nailed almost every song.
(almost, I remembered him dying from the WariYoshi theme)
@@donnycorn3086
Check out his I'm a spider so what ending cover
@@natsugineo6695 oh yea that was a hell of a ride
For someone stumbling across a clip of one of his covers and hearing Jerod do his thing for the first time, that comment is for them.
I love how he is always so positive about every song that he covers, if only everyone had his level of positivity in the world
:^)
really goes to show how much he enjoys music
@@dodee312 very true, when you have so much love for what you do, it doesn't matter what you play or how often, it is pure enjoyment from start to finish
He's just so fun to watch
The world would be a better place if everyone had his level of positivity right?
A true musician, he really plays them blind and nails some parts that people usually need to practice doing. Amazing!
well yeah, he do this for almost a decade now, don't he?
@@boss.mimoto6570 I think so yeah

Seeing puns outside the priestess stream is like meeting your classmate on a random place, wahnderful.

The way his hits match up with the raindrops at around 2:46 is perfect

Ok but his prediction skills are purely insane lol!
"Shout out to the clippers" LOL
Oooooooooh he nailed the pauses there, and the solo too, holyyy
Searched for "Violet Ina Cover" and I'm very glad that you're the only one to do it so far.
The official channel is The8BitDrummer
LMAO SAME
I really love how he changes his approach with each individual song he covers
2:32 The fact that he understood the groove so perfectly is chilling.
You can hear he is a rock drummer. His best was slightly different from Violet when he come in the chorus. Yet, he is a so great professional that he can make it sound great.
2:46 it's the little things that make me happy. Timed with the water drops
i wanna watch him play Marine's song Unison so bad. some of the rythms in that are wild
Congratulations
His ability to anticipate breaks and highs. Just awesome. Pure musicianship.
"ina is my absolute favorite" so he has started to go down the rabbit hole
Unfortunately he was just reading the donation message haha
Violet is such a relaxing song I love it
Wah. Humu humu. Translated that means it’s very impressive how he can tell what’s coming.
I gotta say Ina might not have the biggest fanbase but she certainly have one of the most loyal and wholesome fanbase i ever seen. (=w=)/
also the horniest

Our priestess is worth the love
as a fellow takodachi, i must sadly disagree. KFP is far and away more loyal than us. and a smaller group too!

Super chill, just like Ina's personality

激しい曲からこの静かな曲までできるなんて神ってる、、
I hear him him say "I have never heard this before" because it's seriously hard to keep up with so many new songs in Hololive alone
This would be perfect as an anime ED.
im back. wow 31 takodachi requested for it. damn this song cool and chill. good cover
I don’t know how you are So good at predicting songs. It’s honestly incredible
