      Stats, Stats. Steve Kerr was a spot up shooter. He had no handle, he relied on others to get him the ball. He wasn’t double or triple teamed, nor were there special defenses created just for him. Even Coach Kerr has stated that Steph is a much better shooter than himself. And he never lead any team to a championship. He was a bench player, I don’t recall him ever starting, at least not with the Bulls. Your comment is BS.

    I think that the warriors could have a run if Jonathan Kuminga can play like he did the second half of the season. If Wiggins can find his 22 post season self. If Draymond can stop assaulting people. If Pods can grow more as a player. If Buddy Hield can keep up his elite 3 point shooting. Lots of "If's" with this team, but they taught me a lesson in their 2022 Championship. Don't ever count them out.

    I don't care how good is Warriors team, and how old if Steph. He is still the most exciting player to watch. With all respect to Ant, Booker, Luka, Irving and other great players. But Steph still has this magic aura around him. And everybody knows when this guy is in the flow. He is the most dangerous basketball player on the world. And the last 3 minutes of findal displayed it clearly. When France double teamed him with wide open KD and Lebron on court. When Booker instead of easy layop pass back, because know there is a guaranteed 3 points instead 2. When Steph is in that state he get all eyes on him and he delivers.

      In the West though, Curry needs a good #2 to make a deep run. 2022 he had Klay, Poole, and Wiggins step up at different times and Curry took over when they needed it most. He was undoubtedly the MVP for that team, not even close. He hit late game daggers in every series!

I'm not suggesting that he has more tricks and moves in his "bag" than other players, I'm talking about the sheer solidity and consistency of it. He's an absolute master of basic ball handling. I've never seen anyone else look so comfortable dribbling under pressure from the defense. That's worth more than I can express with words.

    Believe it or not, even if LeBron is the MVP in the Olympics, deep inside the hearts and minds of those watching, whether live or on screens, most of them see Curry as the "REAL MVP" and the reason why the USA won gold in basketball at the Olympics. Up to now, some still underestimate Curry, but this game-changer is something we rarely witness. Hopefully, this serves as a reminder to everyone of who the "TRUE GOAT" is in their own way and not just confined to what the majority has been accustomed to for a long time.

      Most exciting, most dangerous, scariest, and even the most iconic. But the greatest player in his generation is LeBron... What we can say is that between LeBron, Steph, and KD, this may be the greatest 3 players in a single generation in history. LeBron had a 6 year head start on Steph and a 4 year head start on KD, but in a within those 15 years of playing in the same league, they may be #1 out of any generation that had other great players who played in the same league for more than 12 years. The only comparable trio who played in the league together for 12 or more years would be Shaq/Kobe/Duncan... Sure, 14 total rings to 10, but Shaq was already gone or a shell of himself when Kobe and Duncan won their last 3 rings.

    I still don’t get why Kerr doesn’t player Curry on ball more, the NBA has clearly adjusted, and the motion offense just doesn’t get Curry as open like it used. It helps him get into better rhythm, plus he’s hyper efficient when playing that role.

    The bs that Steph can pull out of his ass is why the warriors front office think they don’t have to make moves. Honestly feel bad for him

    That was the best Team this year. But USA needs the best Shooter and may the most complete Player + a few Hall of Famer to beat Serbia and France. The top Teams are close together and its not enough to win a World Champion Title to sende a good team like last year, where a lot of player had a deep playoffs run. I hope european basketball got a new respect in the USA.

    call me crazy but since it's a 1 game tournament style, there's a reason why Adebayo, AD, many of the others showed out on the earlier games. it almost felt like they were pushing pushing so that the high volume high scoring types like KD (I knew about injury but still), Curry, Embiid and LeBron could rest then ensure they have their top players peak performance, no fatigue, no issues by quarters, semis and finals. USA still the top of basketball but you can see the top teams are closer than ever.

    Dubs need a big man... the playing small is effective but the NBA has already solve that, they need some twicks in their scheme to give Curry more space... and they need someone who can complement Curry on the scoring side of things... If they had gotten Lauren they would come hard to the playoffs...

    If you realistically want to forecast Steph’s production next year based on his Olympic performance maybe take the whole tournament as the sample size, not just his last two games?
    If he only has 2 good games out of 6 we are not going to make the playoffs.

    • @doramontano3394
      @doramontano3394 27 дней назад

      Kerr also didn't have him playing "his (Steph's) game" the first few of the Olympics USA b-ball games IMHO. Kerr had Stephen just go stand at the corners. Those last 2 games he played truer to his game thereby really showing what he can do.
