The other benefit I didn't hear them bring up regarding the shorter playcalls, if you're out of the huddle quicker you also have more time to make adjustments at the line. More opportunities to slide your protection and identify blitzes, and more time for motion. This is a good change for sure.
I’m worried about the offense going from high flying to 3 runs and a pile of smoke. But the fact is, it’s the players not the coaches. So if we have good players it will work, if not it’ll be 3 yards and a pile of smoke.
Perrie Thomas avg 4.6 yds a carry Now wtf is wrong with running plays. Every three runs a first down But just sling the ball That's why the saints staggered teams knew we was throwing the ball. Smh if you can run the damn ball it keeps defense very honest 8 in the box yea I'll take that every game
Why do y’all think it smart to try and get Clint to talk about the ins and outs of his offense. Y’all have to be the dumbest saints fans ever. Yea tell me your philosophy so I can go post it on RUclips for the world to see smh 🤦🏽♂️
The thing is, his offense is out there. We've seen multiple seasons of tape of it in Denver and Minnesota. I'm sure it's evolved slightly with his tenure in San Fran, but we have a very good idea what it will look like already.

The offense needed a top-down overhaul. Even successful cultures can get stale.
