Good video! Ditch the music and speak louder. Great to see that there are trade classes in high schools in Canada. Sadly we lack a lot of these here in the USA. Aside from that, this video has been helpful to us in doing our own doorbell re-location. Thank you!
We need more high schools like this. College isn't for everyone. These guys could learn the basics. A couple of years in the field. They could open their own business.
Man, thank you for this video. There are so many door bell install videos, none took the time to show to use 14 2k wire from your main terminal drop. It make sense!
Too awesome, the way u broke it down was on point. I have a older house that doesn’t have a doorbell and this is what I was looking for. Now I need a Ring doorbell video. Lol Excellent work and very detailed 🤙🏽😎
Hey Dan I appreciate the feedback! In response to your other comment, it will work if you feed off of an outlet nearby. Just kill the power first! :) Cheers
Terminating in the panel should be the last step. Terminate in the octagonal box first, in order to avoid potential electrical shock. Otherwise, awesome video. Good job guys.
I have a old house I have 2 black wires coming from electrical system hooked up to the old transformer How do I hook up the new transformer that has 3 wires 1black 1 green and 1 white ?
Turn off the power to the circuit and take off the old transformer. Put marrettes on the two black wires. Get a pen tester from a hardware store. Re energize the circuit and touch both wires separately. The one that made the tester beep will be hooked up to the black wire, the other one with the white. Make sure you turn off the power again first. Find a 8” piece of stripped copper #14 wire and wrap it clockwise around the ground screw in the octagon box. Connect the green wire to the end that.
dopppeee , to bad it aint this easy wen ur crawling in a attic , 90• degrees , breathing and sweating insulation , crawling inbetween 2ft space , trying to only lay on the studs !! with a fukin headlamp !!!! ohhh and did i mention fishing the wire 😂😂i love my job pay upp !!!
It's hard to follow the video because the music is loud enough to mask the spoken words. Music is fine in a vid but it has to be low enough to allow the voices to be heard clearly.
I’m 12 I do a lot of housework changing light switches and taking down I’m fixing ceiling fans I wish I had more complicated things like this for Younger people I’ve Learned a lot by. Myself
Great video. Next time skip the music. It might be the kind that you like, but others might find it annoying and miss out on the information you're presenting.
Really looks like a good tutorial but I couldn't get past the first couple of minutes. The background music is way too loud and distracting. Ditch the music!
Are you kidding me? This is horrible job. First: the conductors are not going neat and straight through the joists. Those loops make the job look sloppy. Low voltage wires are not safely secure and I can go on and on and on
Make more electrical works. This instructional video is on a different trip. I like it!
Devin Villanueva You the real MVP
It's the other way around. Cheers!

It's called a tradeschool, I believe.

The best video on the subject! Great work and educational video!
Wow! So informative; not only learned about doorbell wiring, but electrical wiring and other stuff!

SAWAT awesome. I kinda figured that but I’d rather ask a more knowledgeable person other than myself. Appreciate ya. Cheers🍸
Great video guys. Very detailed and simple to replicate. It was kinda difficult to hear you over the music though.
Yeah, music is way too loud.

Great point Esther, thanks for the tip. Always a great idea to take every reasonable precaution.
But for example, instead of wiring to the breaker box, couldn’t u bridge it to the closes outlet at the door?
Nice to see this is being taught in schools
Where did you find that song?
Why. WHY did I not take these classes in high school?! Imagine leaving school with abilities to actually physically improve the world around you?

I bought the same chime as Chris, however it dosent shut off. I had to disconnect,. It is the harbor bay
Good job, Marcello would be proud.
great video ...I would love to take classes of electric handyman stuff

Reality
Make sure you wear a mask
Can I take the power from outlet
The wires from transformer to the door bell is what type of wire? I gotta run about 30 ft
A pair of 20 AWG wire
Just moved into a new house.
I wanna remove the door bell.
Is it a job I need an election to do or can I do it.

MUSIC WAY TO LOUD! Otherwise, very well done.
...killing me with that "music".
Is this in high school or college???
Great video. Next time skip the music. It might be the kind that you like, but others might find it annoying and miss out on the information you're presenting.
Informative, but yikes, drop that annoying music.
thats a tight beat. what you dont have any class? yo must listen to shitty pop music huh?
MoK86 the music is good, the volume is too high
Wouldn't you want the transformer in the box?. Drywall will cover it at that location
Man,I hope you ain’t that drowsy when you’re working! Great vid tho

Ditch the music!
I don't know if I was watching a music video or how to install a doorbell.
is he not allowed to have music?
Is this a high school?!
i only watched this because of the music,lol..
Chalmer Elkins yes you r
VIDEO ITS GOOD ...BUT MUSIC SO ANNOYING 😠😠😠😠😠
Why is it so complicated to install a doorbell!? Ugh!
The music is annoying, a distraction and too loud
Great tips, kill the music. The music could had been the music ever, still made it hard to hear the voice and it distracted from the topic.
MUSIC to LOUD
Don't pit background music on an instructional video
informative but you could sound a little more lively. I say you should leave the same video but re-record your voice over.
Would been good video if the person talking spoke louder. My 98 year old grandma talk louder then him !! That explain the 178 "thumbs down".
Would have watched but shit music killed it
Okay video, but the music made it unlistenable.
People go on You tube to learn something they dont know. The music is too loud and distracting.
What idiot thought it was a good idea to add this track to an instructional video? Guess they teach that course in college...
Volume too low, and music made it worse!
Wayyyy too complicated
The music is annoying
Are you kidding me? This is horrible job.

Charly M thanks for the input
Can stand the crap music.... moving on !
