I play with the directional keys
And then for attacks i use zxc for kicks and asd for punches
If i try to map it like a hitbox of smth it gets uncomfortable

I love playing on keyboard for every fighting game apart from SFV. I’ve got a similar keyboard to you, and when I use the layout you do (although I prefer wasd) if I use the same button inputs it hurts my wrists, I’d be more comfortable further out.
Unfortunately SF will not bind any key that isn’t a letter or a number.

I've competed in Evo many times! I haven't tried using keyboard cuz its a bit of a hassle to set up on console so I just play on whichever controller I feel better on atm cuz I can use any
