You want the pizza stone to be hot before you slide the pizza in. Keep working with it , you can always eat your mistakes . Before you know it you will put most pizza shops to shame. Cheers.
We did the same thing when Mike first got a pizza stone and the pizza wouldn't come off the paddle...now a few years later and when Mike makes pizza, he always uses parchment on the paddle and slides right into the oven onto the stone, and then slides right out onto the paddle,,,nice pizza stove...calzone looks great..
Get the mini grinder out and shave down the sides of the pizza paddle so it will fit inside the oven door. Also you should sprinkle down a bit of flour on your surface and use a rolling pin for the pizza dough so it doesn't stick to anything while you are stretching it out
Your a small engine repair man, baker, and now a pizza man... lol. Awesome piece of gear I will definitely check out Vevor, oven would be perfect for my outdoor kitchen there eh!
H Dave Hi Cindy. The Pizza oven sure is cool, Fair play to Vevor for sponsoring and supplying the Oven. Pizza is definitely one of my favourite foods, and homemade in a cool oven, even better. Loved your First attempt, will have to actually try that. Many thanks, Peace and blessings ☺
First thing you want the oven as hot as possible with the stone in it. Preheat the stone for at least and hour and put cornmeal on your peel first so the dough won’t stick.
Those guys are correct...get the pizza stone the temp of the oven or close. Oh, I ran out of cornmeal once, I then used hominy grits on the peel and stone.
I'm no Pizza expert but I'm pretty sure the pizza stone needs to be hot when you drop the pizza on it in the oven. If you make the pizza on the Cold Stone and then put it in the oven, I feel the top of the pizza will burn and the bottom will be mushy because it will take a lot longer for the stone to heat up and then start cooking from underneath. I would just make the dough on some sprinkled flour so it doesn't stick to anything, maybe put some Pam spray or something on the pizza paddle or sprinkle a little bit of flour on that and it will slide off right onto the hot stone in the oven
nice perk having companies come to you .Got to use cornmeal to get that dough sliding .Got a frozen no frills pizza in the freezer . Won't hold a candle to ypurs

Good advice, thanks for the tips!

👍
I think your dough was too sticky. Add a little more flour if it is sticky. Should not stick to your fingers.
Ill try that next time lol

i love you and the wife
I would like my wife to have a Cindy charakter. Regards from TX 🤘
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Oh yeah, gotta have weiners, my older brothers did that all the time and at 53, i still do it and offer some to my brother that lives next door
Why so much packing it's a oven nothing is fragile on it for gods sake get rid of half that foam packing!
Everything is overpackaged these days. My cardboard straw came in a plastic rapper 😂
The pizza stone is fragile but was unbroken ....it was a lot of packing but these things do travel a long distance before sold ....
