    Hello! May I ask if you had to make any reinforcements on the plane or is this like it came? Thanks!

      I laminated with 5 mil laminate. I also had to epoxy the motor mount on. Had to cut reliefs in the front and rear canopies otherwise they come off . I also used servo arms screwed into the foam to lock down the front and rear canopies

      I was definitely surprised at this one. Normally I fly 4s on low kv motors to get efficiency. But on 6s it’s a rocket ship lol

    How many amps do you pull with this set up? Does the motor get too hot? and why do you think it would be faster if you put a 6 inch prop?

    • @dronepilot260rc
      @dronepilot260rc  Год назад

      I have a 60a esc I believe it was pulling 45a and yes the motor does get got. You need a 2807 motor or bigger

      @@dronepilot260rc what is your top speed with this motor? Im planning to buy the same motor just to increase the speed of my dolphin.
      Do you have any motor and prop recommendations for me?

      You will need a 60a esc or better and it’s an Emax Eco II 2807 1300kv. I would estimate 120mph or so. No flight controller or gps on board so don’t know actual speed

      @@dronepilot260rc do you think i can use that motor + 7x4x3 prop? or will the torque roll be too much?

    • @dronepilot260rc

      You can use a 3 blade prop and it will be a stable flight but you will not experience a top speed of a bi blade

    How fast is it

      Don’t have this one anymore but I would estimate it was 140 mph compared to other models I have that go 120 mph and this was a lot faster
