Here is an fyi- ❤ Please COPY ❤& POST THIS EVERYWHERE you can….. 45 will use military RULE, FASCISTS DO, they use the MILITARY AGAINST ANYONE WHO OPPOSES THEM. That is why once you Americans give 45 & his puppet master Musk the oval office your DEMOCRACY IS OVER & Bloodshed will be the norm! you are all too naive on this. They spelled out intentions in Project 2025. 45 is using Hitler playbook. His first time was a practice only. his gang is now fully prepared to END democracy.
FYi ❤ITS DEM LEADERS WHO NEED TO DO Their JOB, UPHOLD Constitution & VOTE 14th/3rd NOW to STOP 45 cuz He is NOT QUALIFIED legally to take office under 14Th!
      * I am in SHOCK how all the media & DEM LEADERS are deluding themselves to PRETEND that AFTER THEY HAND DEMOCRACY over to AUTHORITARIAN 45 Putin Puppet & his regime that somehow they are going to magically get back democracy WITHOUT A WAR !! & Without mass graves!
**This is a outrageous delusion you are all in!
45, & his people have all laid out in writing what they plan to do! (project 2025. and the violence will KEEP EVERYONE SUBMISSIVE UNDER THEIR RULE! Fascist EXPERTS HAVE WARNED WHAT WILL HAPPEN once you let A DICTATOR RULE OVER YOUR COUNTRY! Democracy will be NO MORE! You MUST STOP IT BEFORE they take it over!!!!!!!
Dems can easily stop the takeover by holding a 14th AMENDMENT VOTE to uphold the CONSTITUTION fact that 45 is NOT LEGALLY ELIGIBLE TO BE SWORN IN UNDER the 14th Amend/3rd section!!!!
DEMS CONGRESS MUST DO THEIR JOB on that NOW or DEMOCRACY WILL BE GONE until you fight in the streets and shed BLOOD TO GET A DEMOCRACY BACK!!!!!
Are you people all insane or what are you doing people of America , DEM LEADERS ??!!!!!! WAKE UP BEFORE YOU LOSE EVERYTHING AND SUFFER TERRIBLE LIKE in Syria!!!! Like in Nazi Germany!

Why would Canada and Greenland want to lower their standard of living, education, healthcare etc. to that of USA?

    • @ikaruseijin01
      @ikaruseijin01 17 дней назад

Unfortunately provincial governments have slowly been sabotaging public healthcare here in Canada. The sabotage is to turn people against "socialized" medicine and prepare people for a return to an American style for-profit system, and it is working. More and more see the current sabotaged and underfunded system as a false best-they-can-do example of socialized medicine and consider it a failure instead of recognizing the sabotage. They also see our social programs as failures too. Local Facebook groups have turned mean where folks are advocating total elimination of social programs, and that "lazy" poor people are to blame. Comments like "Maybe if they couldn't eat they'd go out and get jobs..." They want their taxes cut and anyone who isn't at least middle class to go f*** themselves, and that they believe they can pay for private healthcare and schools and "businesses run them better." The Conservative Party here loves Trump and think he is brilliant.... the current leader is a self-described "Radical Libertarian" and he has said they'd slash social programs and the party loudly promises to eliminate the universal dental care program that was introduced 2 years ago. They are projected to win a historic landslide currently.

Let's not lose sight of what happened: The incoming president of the United States implicitly threatened an allied country with military action if it doesn’t hand over one of its autonomous territories, against the will of both the country to which it belongs, as well as against the will of the autonomous territory itself.
It’s going to have consequences in international politics, such as justifying the ongoing actions of the Russian Federation in Ukraine, as well as justifying the Russian Federation expanding its military action to increase its territory by adding other independent nations, NATO members even.
It’s not about them not being able to fight off a Russian invasion attempt, rather that they shouldn't any expect any help from the United States, and should plan on the contingency that the United States will actively hinder rendering of aid to them.

If it's any reassurance, there are still two NATO members besides the US with nuclear capabilities (the UK and France). Whether they'd have enough to threaten total annihilation like the US is a different matter, but the key point is that the US is not essential to a European nuclear deterrent.
Arguably, a greater danger is the US breaking away from NATO and then starting a new defence pact of similarly illiberal regimes, and using that to start a new cold war, with regional proxy wars aimed at growing or maintaining their influence, like what they did in South America when those countries started moving towards democratic socialism.

It is common for us in Denmark, when we get a new monarch, to have his new national coat of arms made. It is his (in this case) and yes, the Kalmar Union has long been “dissolved” and therefore it is natural that it falls off the coat of arms. The King himself has been with the Sirius patrol on sled patrol in Greenland. He loves Greenland and its nature, so it is perhaps also very natural that the two countries that are in our commonwealth - the Faroe Islands and Greenland, are given a more prominent place.
So the national coat of arms is being changed NOT because Trump is again behaving inappropriately towards a number of countries, but a completely natural thing. The work to make a new national coat of arms started in February 2024, by the way.

About the cote of arms you (Belle) miss some important information…
    1) the new cote of arms has been under way ever since the Queen abdicated - So the design project started Long before Trump again started about buying property…
    2) Secondly there has been for some time 20-30 years a mild bewilderment why the arms did not reflect how the kingdom looked like now and not back in 1300 during the heights of the Kalmar union by Margarethe the first btw ( the one who abdicated was Margarethe the second)
    3) the king is VERY fond of Greenland and has visited Greenland many times (when he was crown prince) even when he was in special forces… (Frogmen) So for him it made a lot of sense to skip the old arms and make a more up to date version…
    4) last but not least (and this is my own speculation) When the Queen abdicated it was because she felt that her son could and should revitalize the Kingdom a 2.0 upgrade - and here it does get interesting because until recently Greenland was NOT represented in Arctic Councill and now they are - The Greenlanders have asked for more autonomy which was only faire - so things have changed in the last 10 years or so… And the arms would have to reflect that… The same goes for faro islands…
    5) Greenland have seats in the parliament and they do affect our election as they sometimes have the ability to chose who should rule due to their mandate… So democracy works both ways …
    6) As to Trump - He might be the most powerful man, in the most powerful country - but right now he is not making friends only enemies Canada, Panama, DK, most of EU etc… I don’t think that is a sustainable strategy…
    Sincerely the danish guy…

"We are all united, and each of us comitted for the Kingdom of Denmark."
-- it really isn't quite that swelling in patriotism. He said:
"Vi er alle forbundne og hver især forpligtet i Kongeriget Danmark."

To win over the Greenlandic population (which seem politically impossible), Trump MAGA's would obviously have to agree to top this by using US taxpayer $$ on subsidizing a Socialist utopia in Greenland, that then potentially could become a Bernie Sanders role model that MAGA really would not want to be part of the USA. So it would then also be a question of how Trump is going to find votes for such a deal without the MAGA movement imploding on itself.

Food stamps that they have and we do not, is also a very socialist way of doing things, because it indirectly subsidize companies by helping them lower the cost of wages, when their employees are getting free money from the state.

I am staying warm Mark! I have a lifetime of experience dealing with the cold weather. I worry about those without my wardrobe expertise though. I saw a guy in the grocery store in shorts yesterday!

I'm glad to hear you're doing well Angelika! I saw the sun briefly peek through today and I wasn't sure if I should dance or sing. By the time I decided, it was over. ;-)

Supposedly the guy in the video asking for Greenland to become American, is one of the biggest criminals on the island. Has been sentenced for smuggling weed, got 4 million Danish kroner confiscated and escaped from jail... Really the kind of guy you want vouching for your country?
