I love this!! I really wanted a compilation of this and I love listening to the difference in each. I think my favourite Xiao in this scene would be the JP dub, the "Mairu" at the end felt absolutely unparalleled. But I love all of these scenes, I think everyone did an amazing job.
CN, KR, EN: Excellent, standard pro VA. I was calm like I usually was watching fiction. JP: Perfection. I suddenly saw him as a real military general there. Its so realistic I forgot he just a moving drawing. I kept replaying the moment over and over after that.
I love how genshin is so popular despite never giving any explanation....what's the zone below chasm? How was the chasm formed? Which god's power was used to created mirages in golden Apple? What's beneath stormterror lair? Etc etc
Xiao and Wanderer are my top favourite in this game,, their story are great as well, especially Wanderer,,,, I am going for C6R1 Xiao and C2R1 Scara Btw The English one was great
Man no offense to the eng va, but them being a woman really and trying really hard to make xiao sound edgy and mysterious is too much for me. I mean im not going to give her any hate but dang probably not the best va for the role. The jp version sounded so badass. Its a shame the eng counterpart isn't as good.
I’m so glad someone agrees. He just sounds way too much like a woman to be considered a male character. No hate on her, she’s great but not the best for a male role.
Personally I think she sounds the best during fight scenes. Her battle cries for Xiao is the best for me out of all the versions since the anger doesn't actually sound edgy. It just sounds like Xiao is losing control of himself while in battle but in everything else tho lol 😂😂😂 I think CN va did the best in talking lines, kinsen sounds exactly as how I imagined Xiao. I love matsuoka as well but his Xiao sounds way too arrogant for the role and for the KR, I just don't like the way he sounds in KR lol it doesn't fit his face 😂😂. In the end it's all about the preference.
@@alyanadrua4153 i suppose but i do think there is an overwhelming majority that isn't a fan of the eng va. Ofc if you do anything in this world, no matter how outrageous, there will be those that will take your side. So it makes sense there are also people who find it nice. But its just reaply not for me abd listening to it kinda ruins the experience. Again, nothing against the eng va, im sure she's pretty good at what she does its just that casting could have been better.
Personally, Xiao being voiced by a woman didn't throw me off. But rather, I think the direction and word choices used in the EN dub made him sound more short and edgy. The softness within an elusive exterior is what really makes Xiao's character, and I feel like EN didn't capture it fully.
For real, i doubt most of these guys are saying "NO ONE COMES CLOSE TO JP" has ever taken to time to find each ones different charm and just went to jp just soley cause its the language of their favorite anime wifeu. For me EN and Korean are up there but each has their own ups.
in this scene alone, JP=EN=KR>CH JP, EN and KR dub's intensity in xiao voice when he says General alatus, faling in! is just chilling... CH however.... I wonder why does it sound so chill. Would really like to know the logic behind it.
Since the Chinese is the original voice over, there probably is a specific reason for that. I haven’t played the quest yet, but I know his character decently well, so I’ll give what I think. Xiao is a pretty calm character, and he probably wasn’t visualized to give off main protagonist energy in a similar manner to the JP. He knows what his plan and goal is here. There is some edge in Xiao’s CN voice, but it’s more of like his willingness to protect others.
@@deletedfan0726 That's not how Koreans speak in Korean accent. They're trying too hard to sound American while speaking in Korean. So much CRINGE!!! Lmao
Nour bestie as a Korean person there is not a single hint of EN accent here imo. If ur getting confused because how VA's speak differently compared to regular speaking (strong annunciation?), or think the edginess is cringe I get u but that IS NOT unnatural.
I loved the japanese and English version ssssooo much you can hear the proudness in his voice this was one of the best archon quest ever !
The voice acting in the English dub is great but it doesn't seem to fit the xiao well for me.
Me too! English and Japanese were good
Matsuoka san really is main protagonist material. the range of emotions in his voice. its just amazing
jp really do hit different
imagine doing a good job but youre up against matsuoka
impossible beat matsuoka voice he born to voice main protagonist and so talent

agreed
It's the CN voice for me. 😩💕
Jp version the best for me.that yoshisugu matsouka voice especially when he say general alatus falling in is crack🔥
nope it's not. and if you want to say "for me" then don't comment in public. if it's in the public we can share our idea too.
@@thetan3066 did u really just say “don’t comment in public” and then say “we can share our idea too”?

THE JAPANESE ONE OMGGGGGG MATSUOKAAAAAAAA

I appreciate the Xiao English VA . Ice cold and full of expression.
Japanese dub... fucking epic...
I think I'm the only one who actually enjoys the Korean version the most lol
Yeah it's so clear and epic -and also sexy- as always
Correct.
Same
Nah their all really good I get goosebumps every dang time
still love all english voice actors
Fun fact: Alatus means Winged in Latin!
Suits him. He's a bird. ❤️❤️
Nothing will ever beat jp ver for me bc MATSUOKAAA
I love how genshin is so popular despite never giving any explanation....what's the zone below chasm? How was the chasm formed? Which god's power was used to created mirages in golden Apple? What's beneath stormterror lair? Etc etc
There's alot of deep lore that is still not yet uncovered. The abyss is end game lore.
BROOO FR JP ONE IS THE BEST I LOVE IT
"General Alatus, falling in," said Xiao calmly, as they began to rise.
Xiao and Wanderer are my top favourite in this game,, their story are great as well, especially Wanderer,,,,
I am going for C6R1 Xiao and C2R1 Scara

Ppl r saying one version is better than the other but I personally think all of them are good lmao
HYPE AF
Every version has its merit but only the CN version fits Xiao's temperament.
Dang, Matsuoka voice is just so uniqe, I feel like i heard Kirito saying thos line, lol
Finally Laila gaining some respect :)
English is easily best but damn Japanese hits too
The JP is good. But I love the English more.
English: Meh
Korean: Some general korean commander sacrifice himself for korean war in kdrama
Chinese: Kongming
Japanese: *KIRITO VIBES*
Cn ver my fav, i do watch anime but idgaf abt his jp va

I play on english dub and I will agree that Japanese dub had a little more emotion
I still like the english voice best. But the Chinese VA is awesome too. I think everyone in the comments section is full of weaboos lol

or maybe they just like tsugu's voice lol
Omg Eng version so op
Jp is a masterpiece
Ах, ладно, английскую озвучку для меня ничто не переплюнет
Matsuoka Yoshitsugu did it best
is the one saying "I shall hold the line" the same voice actor as yugi?
En always win for me

I mean it comes across as quiet determination to me (as a Chinese person), the English one for eg feels way too cartoony for me to take seriously
The Korean version is so pretentious. That's not a natural Korean accent.
As a koran i dont think so...
