ASCITES

Abnormal buildup of fluid in abdomen of dog is known as Ascites. It may be due to hypoproteinaemia, left-sided heart failure, congestive heart failure, cirrhosis, hepatic diseases, renal diseases, ancylostomosis and bacterial infection such as tuberculosis.
