Awesome job! You explained the game perfectly and now I'm ready to play :-D! I of course always read directions but it's always best to see a game played. Thanks.
Great runthrough, as always! This game looks very nice, I've never heard about it. Little error at 15:12 - You get 17 points plus 5 bonus, thats 22, not 23. :-)
I love it, i'm from Holland and because of your video i'v buyed this game... The strange thing is.. You can't buy it in Holland... I have the German version haha
I've since acquired Seeland and have played through the game and found it to be incredibly enjoyable. In fact, I would agree with Rahdo's assessment that there's really little to nothing to be critical of. While I am still a bit on the fence concerning the 'go again' mechanism, I see why it's there and why not having the option could cause some frustrating moves here and there. All in all, Seeland is an excellent game and very, very worthy of its spot on my shelf.
I don't see any reason why she should have blocked you, because even though you didn't get any points from that harvest, you have points, and she has NONE yet!!! In this game, it looks like it doesn't pay to block people until close to the end of the game where everyone has already scored a whole lot of points and everyone is just pushing for a win.
by blocking me, Jen prevented me from earning an additional 8 (or potential more) points if I had the chance to put something there. And in a 2p game, that's the same as earning 8+ points for herself... :)
***** but if she had placed the windmill where you placed your windmill 18:14 she would of scored more pts and probably gotten that 7pt tile later on. by preventing your 8 pts, she gave up like 20+ pts. Doesn't seem to make sense
freejunk2 hehe, i guess it's the old "bird in the hand, vs two in the bush" thing. grab quick points now, or build for potentially bigger points later :) plus, don't forget making that move allowed me to demonstrate how blocking works!
Really Rahdo? You can't say rapeseed? It's one word, not two. C'mon, don't be a Wil Wheaton. Great video otherwise. Just go the game, looking forward to playing it.

Excellent video as always. I'm glad you did this one. I never heard Seeland but it looks like one I'd love to play. Tile laying is a fun mechanism.

MAAATTTHHHH!!!!! thanks, note added :)
Heaven and Ale is very similar with this game. Maybe Seeland it was the inspiration source.

Excelente video, me sirvió mucho
Jen became mean all of a sudden ;)
Somehow that seems like a very un-Jen-like move
jen's a much more aggressive player than me, irl :)
Oh, and you should have received a coin token for the 0 point farm when you scored the first windmill, right?
yup, but i didn't take one since I already had an extra from an earlier failed attempt at a runthrough! :)
I was loving this 'til the "take another turn" coin explanation. I HATE that in games. Otherwise, this looked like a pretty good game.

00:46-00:51. I'm from the Netherlands, but in a radius of 10 kilometres i can only find 6 windmills. Just that you know.
hehe... only 6? how disappointing! :)
Yeah, isn't it? Haha

freejunk2 That is exactly the point I was trying to make with my comment.
