Oh I sure do hope you both are doing great!! So sorry that Blister got the parasite 🥲 This section of that trail looks really awesome!!! The southern end…NOT 😳 I have a panic attack when you guys have to wade through that dark water🥹 😅 I would be petrified of the snakes 🤣🤣
It might be a little risky with the alligators there but we have bears here to worry about so many challenges happy trails my new community friend cheers to your growth
funny sign banter...one of the coolest parts on the Florida Trail on this video!...that is actually called an alligator lily!...I like White Springs lots of old homes!...alot of houses in that area are on stilts the Suwannee can really over run its banks and flood large areas...you prpobably saw lots of evidence of that on the tree trunks along the hiking trail...get yourself some bear spray for the wild dogs
This is definitely a section I want to hike so I am so excited that you guys had a chance to be there! Can we get more details on the dog incident? It’s one of my biggest fears. If I could make a special request, then can you interview blisters in one of your upcoming videos about this incident? The Holton creek river camp is wonderful! I’m so glad that’s where you guys landed for blisters Giardia incident. Maybe I’ll add those meds to my hiking care also.
The section was gorgeous!! I’d love to put a clip of him talking about it in the next video! If I end up forgetting, just comment again in the next one 😄
This is my favorite section to see so far...I love the Suwannee River, we used to camp there a lot. We camped near Bathtub springs where the incredible clear blue water of the springs met the dark brown coffee colored water of the river, it was stunning. Thank God for Carol and Keith. What medicine was it that you got? God Bless you both.
I just finished section hiking this area last week. It's interesting how much that area can change depending on the water level. What a beautiful section and the azaleas were starting to bloom. Did you end up hiking that 1/2 mile disppearing creek loop? It was so worth it. Hope Blister is feeling better
If I remember correctly we didn’t end up doing that loop. Super beautiful area! One of my favorites of the whole trail! Blister ended up feeling much better after taking the antiparasitic!
My buddy is Thur hiking the state of Michigan 1,150 🎉miles he is knocking down the lower half of the state in Section hikes and doing upper half in two months off work
@@OutSpandingAdventures he is doing the NCT Trail just Michigan from the bottom to the up the state map shows that it’s 1,150 total miles in the state of Michigan
What was the name of the medicine you got for Blister’s Giardia? I wouldn’t mind having it as a precautionary measure. You didn’t need a prescription for it? Also, I’m in FL now but from MI, moved down here in 2004 from the Milford/Novi area. What area of MI are you guys from?
Blisters dad jokes are chefs kiss 🤌
Great video. Hope Blister is back to 100%. Happy hiking and safe travels!
Nothing like a good Thur hike
Thank you again for another amazing video. I am so enjoying seeing a part of the world I'll probably never get the chance to visit.
I’m so glad to do it!! I’ve had a lot of getting to experience Florida in such a unique way and share it with others!

Surprisingly, we didn’t see any snakes in Big Cypress! The South definitely has some cool highlights like Kissimmee!
Such a great and wonderful scenery my friend, beautifully presented piece of content!
Thank you!
We backpacked on that section of the River.
There’s a wonderful folk festival at White Springs every year.

By upper half I assume you mean the UP? And is he taking the North Country Trail through our wonderful state?

Carl’s mom is pretty cool.
You’re pretty cool
Is that an outdoor vitals pouch on your backpack
Are you referring to the Garmin mini on my shoulder strap? That’s just a satellite device to give my parents some peace of mind 😄
