He could give details to what my mom think's was the Gulf War (at least I think) as she did research etc. He'd gone to sleep clinics and psychiatrists, and still to this day I'll wake up in the middle of the night to this blood curdling scream, and he'll be running for, his bedroom. I've always said nothing terrifies me like his scream when he's having a night terror. It gives me chills thinking about it, and I listened to it for almost 20 years. It's a scream of someone who knows they're about to die or is in unimaginable pain, is how I've described it. It's actually scary for me to hear my brother screaming like that.
