Here I am back again later is actually July 2024 and I'm trying this pod this morning. I decided to make it iced. I put a tablespoon of my cane sugar syrup in there and a tablespoon of the brown sugar syrup from Monin and I did some carmel mocciato cold foam and it's not bad iced. I actually like it and I can taste. The pecan pulling through
Keirug launched this exact flavor a week or two ago as well. I bought it, my husband doesn’t know how he likes this flavor as hot coffee. I tried it as an iced coffee and I couldn’t figure out what was missing. I’m tempted to buy the nespresso pod to see the difference in taste but I’m reluctant bc neither of us was crazy about the flavor. Thank you for the review of the Nespresso version.

BTW, we recently bought the Nespresso almost a month ago for our anniversary as a gift to ourselves, and the ONLY reason, I agreed to it, was bc of ALL your Nespresso videos I was watching over the past year when I didn't even have the darn coffee maker. I swear I still had no interest in it, but he wanted it and I've been watching your videos about it, so sure why not get it. 🤣😂🤣
Hey!! Nespresso's selections over the last year haven't been that great - espresso and coffee pods equally. I think it's really time I consider nvesting in a Breville manual machine! Great video ❤
Great review. My order of this pod just came in tonight so I'm looking forward to trying tomorrow. The website did say it's better iced so I'll try it both ways and see which I like better.
I tried it iced yesterday and that was a no. I am going to use my hydro chiller with or iced this morning in hopes of it being less watered down and see
Yes, Chobani did their big one with that Cinnamon French Toast creamer! I only ordered one sleeve of the maple pecan release...haven't had the best experience with barista creations

@MsStephieWefie It's back! I just got my order last week (29 Aug). Because I loved it the first time I ordered a lot this time. However... it doesn't taste as amazing as it did the first time ☹️. Maybe it's just me and my tastebuds, but it feels less flavourful. I would love to know if anyone else feels the same!
I have to agree the barista edition you do lose the flavor with milk. It’s just diluted due to the ounce size. But I guess I don’t prefer bitter coffee so some type flavor is better then none. I know you taste test for us all black coffee but do you drink black coffee?
Yeah it lost its taste when I added milk/creamer. It is so so to me. The coffee taste itself basically disappeared when milk or creamer was added, so it felt like I was just drinking flavored milk
When I first tasted it the flavour came through very well. But as I kept drinking it the flavour was no longer there. I don’t know why Nespresso does this we want the flavour all the way through the coffee it seems the flavour is only in the foam.
Canadian here! Maple syrup season in actually now as the sap goes up the tree around March for spring so the timing of this release is perfect
