As ever, promises of a brilliant future in Sitar for Mehtab Niazi. A good start to this Bhairvin, but with a better bandish which reflected a more traditional approach used in thumris/ dadras and less of the bidaar ang baaj, would have embellished the piece greatly. Mehtab's dexterity with his instrument is amazing. He is also more than a sitarist. He is a natural musician. With more maturity and gravitas, his skills will shine. Many duas and good wishes to the young artists.
