Larry's in the chat! "Hello you" and yes floigan bros is an interesting game (it was supposed to rival Mario bros) quite short as well and I believe it was the first console game with DLC if I'm correct 🤔
Come to think of it, quite a few TV cartoons received point n click adventure games. Stupid Invaders Scooby-Doo Duckman Blazing Dragons Beavis & Butthead (2 of them) Pink Panther (2 of them) I'm sure I'm forgetting others.
I had completely forgotten about Space Goofs until this video! I also had no idea that the property got a game (I guess because it was PAL-only...). This looks equal parts fun and frustrating... Which, I guess, describes point-and-click games in general, doesn't it? 😀
I think it did get a US release? It was 2001 so as you'd imagine no one took notice with the DC basically dead lol. Yes! I still enjoy them for some reason lol
I quite enjoyed this game. Really appreciated the comedy and voice cast. I had to use a guide tho some of the puzzles are cryptic especially early on. Love the Dreamcast reviews and would love to see one on Toy Commander or Draconus Cult of the Wyrm 👍
The house opening had me stumped quite a bit. Appreciated the presentation! Thank you! I think I own both (Draconus was Dragon's Blood over here I think) so I'll put em on the list!
A bit different! I'm impressed you routed out a point 'n' click for the Dreamcast. Sounds fairly solid, though maybe the cartoon stylings were more adventurous than the game design? 😀
This game traumatised me as a child. You liquefy Santa in the chimney...also those survival scenes...Holy shit. Also the cartoon was amazing. Less scary...
If you want another point and click for the Dreamcast, check out Floigan Bros!
Will do! Thanks mate 😊

Think Inspector Gadget got a point and click too?
Deffo has that grim fandango feel visually in a certain way
Very comparable, if not quite as riveting as Grim Fandango :)

Well, that's another one to add to my never-ending list of games to buy, lol
Sorry xD I don't do it on purpose, promise!
Love the visuals in this game, it's got a distinctly European & Late 90's/early 00's look going which I'm a big fan of.
That definitely appealed to me too. You can tell its based on a cartoon!
I played this thing when I was about 10 years old and I can safely say I got thoroughly traumatized by it
I am not surprised considering the butt bunny
The only thing that missing is Iggy pop intro song
Thanks for this thorough review of stupid invaders. It's much appreciated. Such a unique game for the Dreamcast.
Thanks for watching!

Hey buddy. I've got no idea how I've forgotten / missed this one mate. Gonna have to get that sorted out and grab this one 🏴👌☕👍
Quite an obscure release to be fair mate!

The only one! Yeah spot on mate to be honest.

I can honestly believe that! This game was way more adult than the cartoon for some reason.
